($5,500) Rapacke Law finally files patent application on 11/28/23 more than five months after fee was paid. This five months has been filled with months of silence and missed deadlines during which I offer to draft an initial version, get on the phone to talk through language, etc. Anything to advance the process! I'm making the same corrections to drawings and text (including spell check issues) throughout. My idea is simple but seems to be beyond the assigned associate's comprehension. 3/23/2026 - Application rejected: Drawings rejected - Produced by Rapacke's artist, checked by his associate. Claims fail due to format - Prepared by Rapacke's associate. Prior art discovered - Similar US Patent applied for in 2022. (Wait! I paid $2000 to find this three years ago and it was a US patent, not some obscure foreign patent!?!) Andrew is happy to fix HIS ERRORS for another $3,000. He can't understand my frustration. Not willing to throw more good money after bad, especially now that the prior art has been discovered. In his final communication Andrew even spells my last name incorrectly. This is indicative of the lack of attention to detail experienced throughout the entire process.

I was pregnant at the time and sustained the most injuries. We were fully insured by State Farm who refused to issue us our full benefits as well as canceled our policy. We lost our vehicle and we're unable to even replace it. The person who hit us got away with everything. Our lawyers refused to even pursue them. Our insurance company got away with not covering our bills. By the end of the lawsuit, we received a pathetically small check that in no way covered our bills. And the lawyer sent a portion of our money to other companies without our knowledge before issuing us what we were left with after their absurdly high fee. They did not follow up with any of our medical providers, the did not address our medical issues, and they were extremely hard to keep in contact with. We did more leg work for them than they did for us. I now spent my life in chronic pain with bad credit because of bills I cannot afford thanks to this law firm and their lack of commitment to my case. We could have received the exact same settlement if we had gone without these attorneys.
