I would say I have a great relationship with various agencies and have assisted models and friends in choosing the right agency. I had been contacted by a few models from First who noticed my work and wanted to shoot. After discussing it with their agency, some where told no. My work is definitely more in line with New York/Europe as it's more fashion, editorial and would even say edgy. I understand Houston/Texas is a very commercial print market so at least wanted to reach out to First Models and introduce myself. I sent a very professional introductory email to Colette to introduce myself. After never hearing back, I followed up with 2 additional emails just to see if she had received my first email. Yet no response. So how can I refer or give kuddos to an agency that doesn't even have the professional courtesy to reply back to an email? Do you think they're going to have the best interest in your daughter or son and work their absolute hardest to further their career? When someone doesn't even have professional business courtesy I can't recommend them. There are 2 other GREAT agencies in Houston that will probably better suite models and talent.

I've worked with Colette for a little over a year at first Models & Talent and I cannot tell you how many times there have been communication issues. Saying she never received my emails booking me on days that I'm out of town etc etc. She is a nice person but very unprofessional. She probably needs somebody to help her out because her communication problems have cost me jobs and also affect my reputation. There are many agencies out there just take a look around before you actually move forward with one. If she maybe had somebody to help her communicate and to help her sort through emails and somebody who helped her out with payroll then her agency might be decent.
