AVOID BUSINESS!!! They're unpredictable, unfair, and a waste of time if you want a career or a job with longevity. Please avoid such unprofessionalism. It'll take MONTHS to find you a job but everyday they're "hiring". RED FLAG!!! I stayed in contact with them for almost a year and gave up. Driving to the office weekly for updates just to be turned down although they're sending out job offers daily was already discouraging but still was desperate. So, a family friend went through them recently and got fired for NO reason. Sadly , the friend was hired and fired within a week. They also didn't receive a check from them although they worked a full work week. ( that is normal for express actually) Just imagine being so excited and showing up TO WORK, clock in and start your day. Then , half way through shift you get reported for not being at work today WHILE YOU'RE AT WORK!!! So who didn't show up? Complete nonsense. Temp service that doesn't have a real chain of command from the office to the work sites. When we asked for camera footage from BOTH the contractor ( work site) and Express they BOTH refused. The termination came from false allegations clearly!!!! Not sure why and they know how much the jobs mean to people . Express said the final decision was up to the contractor. BUT the contractor said the decision was up to Express since it was temp to hire. Which we already know express had the final APPROVAL. It's a complete circus!!! The employee Felix lied MULTIPLE times to terminate their contract such as : Lie#1 : "you're not at work. " Lie #2 : "You didn't clock in." Lie#3 : "you didn't clock in cause their system was down." SHOW THE CAMERAS!!!! That's not his fault about network outage . Lie #4: " I called the job site they looked for you but couldn't find you so you wasn't there. WHO's THEY?! WHY is it their word to be trusted? When asked " who did you speak to" Felix didn't know AND he didn't know the gender of who he spoke with an HOUR AGO. (lie #5) He stated so many lies within a single conversation. Company didn't care for any truth. I hate how they use you for their own personal agenda and benefits. They wouldn't even give second chance although THEY WERE WRONG!!!! Not understanding how someone " isn't at work" when they literally are on site? It's devastating because it's so hard to get a job in this economy and Express makes it harder especially for people of color. They refuse to support the ones that actually want to work. I'm sure the only reason they're still around is due to the community being desperate, majority poor, and having limited job opportunities. read more

Do NOT come here they hate employing people especially African Americans. They make you go through so much and use people for free labor. The people in the office and on worksites all hate to truly see you succeed. Their customer service is sad and nonexistent. I have a friend who has applied several times only to be told there aren't any assignments available. This person calls/texts on a weekly basis with no success. Come to find out there's plenty of available jobs posted on the website. This is a staffing agency you would think they would be thrilled to have someone who's eager to work I guess not. read more

I know of at least two people who went through this agency. There was one they placed with a low-paying agency even though they had a bachelor degree, for just a month and then ended the assignment to place them somewhere else, which was against company policy. Deborah told her not to tell anyone. After the next assignment came to an end, Deborah stopped helping the client all together, avoiding phone calls, emails, and voicemails from her. They screw up your check every single week. By hundreds of dollars. Im Employed through them myself.
