Why didn't I find Mike Palmer Automotive sooner?? I brought my car here after my current shop was…read moremaking obvious rookie mistakes with repairs to my car. Jessy was so kind and communicative. He broke it to me that the car required more repairs than it was worth, and that my current shop was not doing a good job at maintaining my car. Maybe he felt bad for me, maybe he wanted to make a show of good faith, but he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic in that instance. I ended up selling that car for scrap and eventually buying a new car. I brought the new car in for a pre-purchase inspection and WOW, Jessy and his team really showed their true colors on how thorough they are! They checked absolutely everything. They even checked the cabin air filter because he told me that a rodent had built a nest in it. They found things that other shops had missed. Is there such a thing as being too thorough? Jessy might be! But I'd rather have my auto shop be extremely thorough and triple check everything rather than be sloppy and miss things. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality is obvious, right down to how they require appointments for their shop. They want to make sure that every single car gets the attention it needs. I can't recommend Mike Palmer enough and even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I will make the trek to come back here for my auto repairs and recommend them to all my friends. Jessy is a truly honest mechanic who just wants to help you do your best to maintain your car. How do I know? They're not trying to make money nickel and diming you on easy fixes. He could have fixed the cabin air filter for me without asking and taken the easy win but instead he said, that's an easy fix and I easily figured out how to replace it on my own. He wasn't bothered by the fact that I wanted to change my own oil either. Jessy is your true ally in keeping your car running in tip top condition the best way possible.

Quoted me in the same day and started working on the vehicle. The price was amazing for the work done and the parts they use are quality. I'm incredibly impressed with this auto mechanic shop and will definitely be going back for future things needed to be done.

**Outstanding Service, Quality Parts, and Great Value!**…read more I highly recommend Brakes Only Mobile Service! They came right to our home to replace the rear brake pads on our 2017 Nissan Rogue, and the experience was excellent. They were very professional, friendly, incredibly efficient and is Veteran owned. The job took only about 15 minutes! The Nissan dealer wanted $460, while Brakes Only charged us less than $200 using quality brake parts. Having them come directly to our home was incredibly convenient, and the savings were fantastic. Excellent service, quality products, and a great price! **Service area:** Brakes Only currently serves Northern Utah and the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Five stars all the way! I would gladly recommend Brakes Only to anyone in their current service areas who needs brake service.

I contacted Brakes Only at 9am today, and everything was arranged by text within fifteen or so minutes. Lee came out to my hotel and changed both my front brake pads and rotors same day, and my truck was back ready to drive by 1.20pm! Communication before he got here was great, checking into the nature of the noise and how long it had been going on to make sure he had the correct parts with him, and he talked me through the job as as he changed the parts. The cost was more than reasonable too, looking at the price of parts online. Highly recommended, thanks Lee!

I was looking for a shop to give my 97 Subaru Outback its 60,000 (not a typo, the miles are really…read morethat low) mile maintenance service and after checking prices with the Subaru dealer I decided to look elsewhere. My friend told me about Garage Inc. after he had his Acura 30,000 service there. They won't make you get unnecessary services and are priced fair. Even though my Subaru is low miles, it is still pretty old and I understood that some parts needed to be replaced. I got a new timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and wires, rear deferential service, and even a brake light. It still hit my wallet hard, but nearly has hard as the Subaru dealer or other local shops. The kicker: A few days after I drove my Subaru back from the shop, coolant started spraying everywhere. I thought something wasn't clamped down properly or a bolt was tightened enough so I had Geico tow it to their shop. It turned out one of the radiator hoses cracked and they replaced it free of charge. These guys are pretty cool and won't try to take you for a ride. I will be brining my vehicles here for future service and repair.

they have no idea what they're doing if it's an modified vehicle…read more A little backstory, my truck blew last year around july. i'm heavily knowledgeable when it comes to anything mechanical. i rebuilt the truck from the ground up, with modified high horsepower parts. It hasn't ran at all since then, obviously because i've been rebuilding it. tried starting it, and it was throwing electrical codes, and it's a crank no start. at this point im just looking for a second opinion. so we towed my truck to this place to get it looked at, ONLY needed the electrical stuff checked. before the truck got there, i called them, expecting them to ask a few questions atleast, but all they asked was the model of the truck and what was wrong. day or so goes by, i call for an update and they say they would've rejected me if they knew what was done to the truck, (but they didn't ask any questions??) and that they had no idea what they're looking at. the owner was a nice guy, good attitude, but the mechanic who was looking at my truck? terrible attitude. questioning me, and testing my knowledge on MY OWN TRUCK. considering i took the entire motor apart and put it back together with my own bare hands, im pretty sure i know what im talking about. moral of the story, if you have a modified vehicle or anything aftermarket at that, do not go here.
