I brought my Wrangler Rubicon here based on their high reviews on google, expecting professional service. I specifically asked if they could repair my tire, which has beadlock-capable rims (not actual beadlocks), meaning the outer ring can be removed to access the rim and patch the hole. The owner or person in charge assured me, saying, "I got you." I even mentioned that these rims are expensive and that I came here because of their reputation. Again, I was told, "Don't worry. I'll take care of you."
As I waited, I watched them put the rim back on, and that's when I noticed damage to the ring. I immediately pointed it out to the worker handling it, only to be met with a dismissive, "It's nothing." The disrespect was unreal. I work hard for my things, and I don't expect to have them damaged by people who are supposed to be professionals.
I brought this to the attention of the person in charge, only to hear, "It's out of my control." Are you kidding me?! Instead of taking responsibility, he suggested I go to a shop he knew--basically trying to pass me off to one of his buddies to fix the damage they caused and they weren't going to pay for it. Absolutely unacceptable.
I trusted the reviews, but I won't make that mistake again. Others should know what happened here so they don't go through the same experience. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Don't give empty promises like "I got you" and "I'll take care of you" if you have no intention of standing by your word.
