Warning!!! Be very careful dealing with these people and with Study1Visa…read more I paid $4,280 for study1visa and this school after being told the program could be done online. I later learned that F-1 students are generally required to attend classes in person (minimum hours on campus) to maintain legal status. I clearly explained that I am located in a different state, yet I was still enrolled in a school far away while being repeatedly told the classes would be online. There was no transparency about who was providing the service, no clear credentials, and no proper explanation of the process. After realizing the inconsistencies and requesting clarification and a refund, I was not helped. Because of this experience, I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and reporting both this company and Study1Visa so others are aware. Please do your research carefully before sending money to anyone offering immigration or visa services. I demand my money is returned immediately!

I clearly said I am in New York, but they enrolled me in a school in California and told me the classes were online. For an F-1 visa, you must attend in person. Anyone who works with student visas should know this. How am I supposed to go to school in California when I live in New York? Because of their mistake, I paid almost $5K. This is unacceptable. I demand my refund immediately. Be very careful before trusting this school and Shelly C.

The teacher was very cool and and kept me engaged the whole time, and Olena was very nice as well. I learned so many different teaching techniques. The teacher even gave me a tip on an EF school that was hiring close to my house. I interviewed and got hired! I am now gaining a lot of great experience teaching before I move overseas. The location is cool as well, it's right on the promenade so you can walk around during your breaks, before, or after class.

I have their Foundation Course to thank for opening my mind to a whole new world of exciting opportunity. And it took me less than 2 months from the start of my training to get to where I am in Hangzou, China teaching Science and living in a lush apartment on the enormous, multi-million (billion?) dollar campus of Hailiang Foreign Languages School! There was at 1st some skepticism because of being influenced by naysayers and some other negative stuff going around online. But I suspect that this is from people who failed to follow through due to the depth of the study materials. This is a very good thing that their training is so all encompassing, and should stimulate your motivation to enroll in one of their TESOL Courses. This education is on a very high level and will help you to be prepared for life. I have the Foundation Course downloaded to my mobile device and it is invaluable for my continued reference for planning lessons and in the classroom. And even though the training is Graduate School in a University level as far as content, you will be guided all the way on how to get top scores and move forward. I can give this organization a 5 Star Rating forever! I must repeat that it is 5 stars all the way. This school helped me to achieve on of my dreams of traveling and living in China. The two main people at the school that I delt with, Mandy Jiang and Bryan Whitman put up with a lot of hassle from me but still supported me all the way and got me through. I am so grateful for those two and for TESOL Training International. This education and experience can be positively life changing if you let it. I am thankful, appreciative and grateful!

Quickly, French comes easier to you, and you don't have to think as much! The visuals on screen he provides as well as the conversation and creative writing help you learn at your own pace! He always wants to make sure the class is tailored to your needs. He has revitalised my love of the French language! I have faith I can be conversational and fluent if I stay consistent with his classes. Omar really helped me get accepted to TAPIF (teaching assistant program in France). I'll be teaching secondaire in Reims, France! It really is thanks to the wonderful lessons I've had with Omar and his lovely recommendation letter.

I've tried other programs (yes, even the highly praised Coucou French Classes in Culver City), but nothing compares to the experience here. Omar's teaching style is thoughtful, visual, and personalized. He breaks everything down clearly, using drawings and illustrations that make complex grammar feel simple. For example, he'll sketch out a concept right there on the board to make sure it really lands. You're not just memorizing--you're actually understanding. He has this way of tuning into what's going on in your brain and adjusting his explanation until it clicks. C'est incroyable (it's incredible)! I also love that we're encouraged to converse with classmates about things relevant to our actual lives. So instead of stiff, outdated dialogues, we're saying things like "Je suis crevé aujourd'hui" (I'm exhausted today) or "J'ai regardé une série hier soir" (I watched a show last night)--and it sticks because it's real. Another huge win? Small class sizes. It feels intimate and safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and really engage. Omar creates a classroom vibe that's relaxed, motivating, and somehow makes you want to do your homework. Compared to my experience at Coucou, where the classes felt a bit more rigid and less individualized, French In Mind has been a breath of fresh air. Omar clearly takes pride in his work--he genuinely cares about our progress, and it shows in every single lesson. If you're serious about learning French and want to actually enjoy the process, this is the class. Franchement, j'adore ce cours (Honestly, I love this class).

I met some parents who pulled their children out because they were not thriving. I believe math should be taught in English until 3rd grade then switched to the second language. The same for use of accents on Spanish words, those can be difficult to remember. There are some good teachers, horrible teachers and a few great ones. Mrs. Duron was NOT exceptional and a majority of parents whose children had her complained about her. Another teacher called some of the kids in her class "little idiots" in Spanish and horribly shamed one of her students but she's gone now I believe. This school went downhill after my child left. Tag was not allowed to be played, silent applause was initiated at assemblies even though there were no deaf students but there was a blind one (so silent applause made no sense) and there was some bad behavior from some staff that I witnessed but couldn't say anything because it would have been obvious who complained. What bothered me most about this school was the bullying. When my child tried to defend himself my child got in trouble as the teachers never saw the initial incident. One boy at the school stabbed my child with a pencil and punched several other students but not much was done. Lady Gaga was so outraged by the bullying because the child of someone she knew was attacked and the media descended on the school but I did not know the outcome. This is a post to made on social media in regards to the boy who stabbed my child: RIP Linda Valachovic (1969-2023) Here's the difficult truth, she was strangled to death by her son. I'm not sure if any of you remember that my child was stabbed with a pencil in 5th grade by a classmate, her son was the classmate. This same classmate also punched several other students yet nothing was done and it all lead to the death of his mother at his hands. There is something seriously wrong with our schools if something like this is allowed to happen and no action is taken. The school does have its good points like the Halloween parade, the Fall Festival, class projects, Book fairs, dances and the friends my child made. It would be great if they would go back to selling ice cream instead of just frozen juice pops. There's a sense of community at work which is why we stayed. Good luck.
