I wondered into their assembly warehouse, that was surprisingly clean and well organized, where they were building, with great kit glove precision I might add, a gigantic ship hull. I have a small retirement pool business and I needed someone to help me with a welding repair for my service cart. Even though my needs were not related to their usual business protocol, Jim, the owner and manager, was kind enough to have a couple of his men do the repair for me, at a very reasonable price, while I waited. (Actually a bit less than he probably ordinarily would have gotten for the welding quality that I received). Under my breath, a little embarrassed, I told him: "they're doing a much better, more professional, job than I had expected or agreed to pay for." He responded with a hardy: "Everything we do here is top-notch regardless of how small or insignificant it may seem!" Honestly, that's what he said! We both chuckled at his knee jerk, spontaneously good natured, proud American response. I gotta say that it's was nice to run into these unexpected "good Samaritans" in my time of need!
