Out of the many foundation repair companies that I contacted, Breck's quote was the best and to the point. After taking a look at the foundation of the house, he gave me practical and required scope of work as compared to the over extensive scope of work recommended by the engineer's report. I addition, during the whole process, he was easy to talk to. I will call Breck for any future foundation repair work.

Accurate Foundation fixed our home in far north Dallas for a very fair price. They came when they…read moresaid, completed the repair and cleaned up before they left. There were no hiccups and no changes in the original price they quoted. Fast forward 5 years later and we have moved and called upon them again in Duncanville. Rusty came out, inspected the places of concern, and with a grin, said he wasn't going to get any money this time! We love it that they are an honest company and will not create a quote when one is not needed. If you want the real truth about what is going on at your home, (foundation wise) call them first. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Accurate Foundation Repair enough for their professionalism and honesty…read more I had some cracks around doors and in the sheet rock around my house about 6 years ago. Those cracks stabilized and did not get worse ever since. I recently obtained a quote from another foundation company, and they wanted to charge me almost $10,000. Rusty, part-owner of Ace Foundation Repair, came out and inspected my house and said I do not need foundation repair. Those cracks were just cosmetic changes as a result of some soil movement. He recommended that I put in a drip irrigation system to keep the soil around the foundation moist to minimize the soil movement. He just saved me almost $10,000! Rusty also patiently answered a bunch of my questions which made me feel that his assessment and recommendation were accurate. Be aware of less than honest foundation companies out there that try to upsell their services.

I called Ryan with Firm Foundation to help us with a retaining wall. We were wanting it put up…read moreafter finishing our backyard pool project. My husband, whose family is in the masonry business, was skeptical before meeting with him. But boy oh boy did Ryan know what he is talking about. My husband was convinced our side yard which was a pretty steep "hill" could not be flattened out, which is what I wanted. We were building a pool and have 2 boys that needed a place to run and that side yard was all we had left after putting that pool in. Ryan came up with an amazing plan. And we were both so happy with how that yard and wall turned out. Simply stunning! The pool company was terrible and wasn't really willing to work with Ryan and his schedule. But Ryan was very patient with us and them. They kept pushing back the finish date. Which annoyed all of us, but Ryan never made us feel bad about it as it was not our fault. Oh and the pool company literally had no drainage plan except to put pop ups that would flow into the neighbors yard, which we were not ok with. And that was after begging for months to talk to us about the drainage. We asked Ryan if that's something they work with and he had a really great plan to us in just a few days. Needless to say we fired the pool company from the drainage portion of the project and that was the best decision we could have made. There have been zero problems with our drainage. Like nothing at all! It works perfectly everytime. And we never have to worry about that. And all the water gets directed straight to the curb and runs into the street, not our yard or the neighbors yards. The wall in the backyard that goes all the way to the front is gorgeous. When we ran into a potential problem with the last front portion of the wall, Ryan and his guys actually talked to us about it and we all made a decision together on the best move forward. It was such a nice change to have an owner of a company talk to us and work through a potential issue together. Unlike the pool company. (I do wish Ryan was in the pool business. If he was I know we would not be having the problems that we are having that pool company and trying to fix their mistakes.). But Ryan and his company delivered and went above and beyond what was necessary for a job. To summarize, if you need work on something that Ryan and his guys work on, hire them immediately!! They may not be the most affordable, but goodness you will not have any issues and that is worth its weight in gold!! They are worth every penny!! And in case you are wondering about his crew, they are totally awesome!!! Not only are they artists and I would say perfectionists in the best possible way, they were all very personable. They even allowed my boys to "help" which made them feel included and part of the project. I have never been happier with a house project in my life.

After researching all the different foundation repair systems available in Texas I am confident…read morethis is the best option. Since Texas is unregulated in foundation repair, I wanted to make sure that we weren't going to be taken to the bank....again! Our home sank almost 3 inches around one side of the house and two corners. It was also heaving in one area where we had too much water and not enough drainage. When called, they promptly came out not only to take elevations and give me a quote but also to explain to me why my foundation was sinking and what I can do about preventing such things happening to the rest of my house in the future. David helped me understand why my house was heaving at one corner and gave me accurate information to correct the problem immediately. There was minimum excavation, both interior and exterior piers, and all was neatly put back into place. Whatever you do - stay away from concrete piles - they are not a permanent solution in Texas' expansive soils! I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE!!! Also, stay away from look-a-likes... Their competitors' "steel piers" are really just used up pipe from the oilfields. They won't even tell you that unless you specifically ask where they get their steel. Perma Jack's steel in manufactured specifically for this use and is ASTM stamped for quality.

Run as far as you can from this company. They installed plumbing on a home we purchased (before we…read morebought we had no say in the work) and it's been a NIGHTMARE ever since. Between flooding the underside of our home due to not properly backfilling (pictured below) to installing a grinder pump on a bathroom and kitchen and it failing evey six months... they went from promising us the grinder is strong enough to grind anything and everything to today where they said, and I quote, "you shouldn't flush even toilet paper down those pumps and instead throw the toilet paper in a trash can". I waited a month after they came, just to make sure that they were the real thing. Everyone from the sales staff to the guys digging the foundation were really nice. They kept everything clean, and picked up all their tools, trash, and cleaned up all the mud (and there was lots of mud). A bit of history. My husband and I bought a 1937 house in a historic district 2 years ago. We knew that, even though the house had been cosmetically restored, there were pretty severe foundation issues. When our back door no longer would open, I started reaching out to every foundation company I could find. No one called me back. I was floored. I emailed, called again, texted,... nothing. Not one response. Then EcoScape called. I wondered how they had gotten my info, but knew that in my own desperation I surely put my name out on the web asking for anyone to call. Matt showed up right on time, clean, presentable, and friendly. He took thorough measurements and presented all options. He even mentioned gutters, which we pounced on, as our slate roof had none and it was the main cause of our foundation issues. The team showed up the first day and started right in. Those guys can dig! Before you knew it all of the holes were dug. The next day posts went in and they leveled the house. I have attached pictures so you can see how off our house was. Serving as a warning to not renovate your house before getting your house strait. I am happy about every crack as it shows me my house is now on the level. Doors open and you no longer have that uneasy feeling of walking downhill in your own home. Now let's talk about the fabulous gutters. Living in a historic district I knew if the gutters weren't done well I would have the scorn of the association to deal with. The gutter guys came in on the first day of the foundation dig and measured the house and made a plan. On the day after the foundation was done they came in, and in a blur of men and aluminum, we had perfect gutters. The color matched our roof line perfectly, and they look very classy. All in all, super pleased with everything. Would highly reccomend.

He installed piers about 10 years ago on a home that I bought that came with a "lifetime warranty"…read more It is obvious that he does not have confidence in his work as he gives you a list of directives you must do before he transfers the warranty. When you perform all the directives that he gives you in his original paperwork, he suddenly tells you oh by the way you also need to pass years of multiple tests AND install benchmark piers before warranty is honored. He requires you to send him $100 to get warranty transferred but he makes it so difficult and so expensive to do, that you end up just giving up. He keeps your $100 and no warranty. This is how this man operates. You may think you are getting a reliable company to fix your home's foundation. But if he does not even have faith in his own work to honor his warranty...red flags.
