She drove it around for an entire month, and then I started noticing it was running and sounding rough. Had my neighbor, who actually builds cars, come over and take a look at it. The damn thing had little to NO oil in it. There's no puddle in the driveway, no signs of an oil leak anywhere, and it isn't smoking, so it's not burning oil. So apparently, they just didn't put the oil in it like they were supposed to. I took it back up there today and had them look at it themselves. They couldn't find a leak either. They topped it off and basically sent me on my way. Absolutely unacceptable. I trusted them with my wife's car, and somehow it went a month with almost no oil in the engine. That could have turned into a completely ruined motor. Needless to say, I WON'T be bringing any of my vehicles back here. I don't care if they're the cheapest place in town -- I'm not risking an engine over someone failing to do something as basic as putting oil in a car.

The error was only fixed after I pointed it out, and the only receipts I received were the incorrect one and the refund/charge correction, not an itemized one. They did end up fixing it (still pending on my bank account as of right now, but only one charge has gone through fully). * They showed me a photo of a completely empty coolant reservoir, claimed it was from my car, and told me it was unsafe to leave without a coolant flush and that they would have to report it to carfax. The photo was not of my vehicle. I returned to get an itemized receipt and ask for my air filter back and they told me that they had not said it was empty (assistant manager Braiden Turner had me step out of my vehicle and look at the perfectly fine coolant reservoir (which he insisted was empty). When I said "yeah, what about it?" He switched to talking about it being the quality and state of the coolant being unsafe. * They removed my air filter, told me it had not been changed in two years and wouldn't work properly (I had it replaced in May and the inside of the pleats are still pretty white), and then failed to reinstall it before letting me leave. I left with NO air filter in my car. After this, I went to Jiffy Lube across from Whataburger because my car was getting hot and not accelerating right on my way home. They confirmed the issue, got me a new filter, and checked my coolant (it wasn't empty) and treated me with professionalism and kindness. I'll be going there from now on. Told me that I needed to get an itemized receipt and watch my bank account and to call them if I end up having any issues with my car after it being serviced. (Pressure control solenoid, control solenoid, torque converter, clutch pressure control solenoid, just to name a few) Guess what all leading to the damn transmission. For many years, I have only used Discount Tire for purchases and maintenance. I always purchase the warranty with our new tire purchases and it has come in handy with my daughter's car. Unfortunately, there is not a Discount Tire in the small town of Stephenville. I checked Discount's web site and found the nearest town was Granbury, about 45 miles away. I made an appointment online for the following day at 2:30. I picked up her car and drove to Granbury arriving a little early for my appointment. As I was getting out of the car, a representative came out to meet us. I advised him about our appointment, and that I had purchased the tires from Discount Tire in Spring Branch. He looked over all the tires, said they looked in good condition and asked if I liked them. When he found out that I really liked them he said they didn't have any of our size in stock but could have them in the day after Labor Day. That was in case the tire could not be fixed. I also asked to have all tires rotated and balanced. At 3:00, he came and told me the tire was fixed and the others were rotated and balanced. He said no charges, and we were ready to go. 30 minutes for all that work was fantastic. Will I return? I'm a loyal Discount Tire consumer. Hopefully I will not have to return to this particular store.
