This company showed up to my home on a private drive. Drove down my driveway. Took photos of my home. Walked around every inch of my property snooping around and taking photos. I know all of this because of my security system. I never gave them permission to come to my home or let themselves into my back yard and look into my windows. When I called customer service they gaslit me telling me that I had put in a good request at x time. I was with a client at that time and my wife was working. What an absolute joke of a business. Very disappointed in the three Customer Service personnel I spoke with today. 1st one tried to upsell me, 2nd hung up on me, 3rd couldn't/wouldn't answer my questions. All loved the sound of their own voices. Various excuses were given for why my lawn went from being called Above Average by the technician in April 2025 to having several different weed problems in Aug. Very painful experience cancelling service with Experigreen. First of all there is no way to cancel from your account or on the website. Second they refuse to accept email as a way to cancel. Third they directed me to a painful experience via a phone line. In first series of tries NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE - tried 3 times!! I sent another email, and they said sorry need to use the phone line. Waited 15 min to get a rep who forwarded to a "retention specialist"....I said I did not want to retain services I'm trying to cancel. No luck. Waited another 20 min on the phone waiting for the retention specialist...I explain I simply want to cancel, and she goes on about all the services they provide and options besides cancelling...I had to interrupt and restate I simple wanted to cancel, and she goes on and on again....I had to raise my voice (which I really don't like to do and have not done in many years), and said, "please stop talking and listen to me, I WANT TO CANCEL". Finally agreed to cancel after several minutes of this retention specialist trying to talk me out of cancelling. This is extremely annoying and ridiculous. If I could give this company zero or negative stars, believe me, I would, because this was the single biggest mistake I've made in my time as a homeowner. This company made promises they refused to keep, made me call them for ANY communication purposes, and their technicians only treated a fraction of my yard while charging full price. Minus. Five. Stars! My lady and I met one of their reps at the Cincinatti Home Remodeling Expo. At first, we were gonna keep walking by, and I wish we had, but he roped us in. We told him about the ivy growing in our yard and that we wanted it gone before it got too bad. He swore up and down that they could do it, even looked at our pics, AND looked up our house on Google Maps, STILL saying they could do it. He talked a BIG game! We agreed to six treatments at what we thought was a fair price ($29.95 for the first treatment and 61.95 for the rest). In February, the first technician came to treat our lawn. We were never informed when he was coming at all. Still, he treated about half of the yard (I have it on my security camera system), and said that the ivy was dormant and not ready to treat yet. I was okay with that and the first treatment price. Months went by with no calls from them until I called them to ask when the next treatment would be. The rep I talked to could only give me a six week window and no exact or close date. Finally last week, another technician came, and only treated about 1/4 of my yard, not going CLOSE to the ivy, and telling the home office (but not ME) that most of my yard was covered in forest. First off, no, it's not, and I called the home office to inform them of his lack of work and they told me he said just that. So they sent him back, just for him to do EVEN LESS work than the FIRST time. I have him on camera dragging a treatment hose halfway through my yard, messing around with his phone for a minute, and then packing up and leaving. He didn't even TRY! When I called back after that, I was told that a manager would be reaching out to me to schedule a survey of my yard, and to speak to me of solutions. One full week later, nothing. Today, I called the office to cancel any and all further treatments, and the only response to my reasons why was a mere, "Okay." Nothing more. To say I'm dissatisfied with this company would be a gross understatement. I have all their actions, or lack thereof, on my security cameras as proof. I don't like to bash companies who don't deserve it, but this company by FAR deserves a -5 star rating. Only call on Experigreen if you love to throw your money away on nothing. Edit: Since I left this review, a manager reached out to me to survey my property and see if they could treat the ivy, still after already saying they could before. They sent a technician out on Thursday. The technician was very short and a bit awkward while speaking with my lady when he told her they could not treat it and that they only do turf. So all this time and money for treatment has been essentially wasted. My second biggest mistake was giving this company a second chance. Still minus five stars. read more

Please read full review, I worked as a rep at Experigreen 3 years ago. An Experigreen rep just ignored my no soliciting sign, rang my doorbell and woke up my sleeping baby, which was the catalyst for me exposing some of the deceptive business practices that were standard when I worked there. -Experigreen mixes regular (non-organic) pest spray with the organic pest spray and sells it as fully organic. That means that you are paying a premium to protect your kids and pets, yet they are still spraying toxic chemicals in your yard. This goes beyond negligence since they know what they are doing. When I raised my concerns, they were swept under the rug. Apparently, their organic pest control is not 'effective enough.' Experigreen would rather put your family's health at risk than have to go out on free service calls to respray. -DO NOT BUY their liquid aeration service. Do some research. They offer this as a cheaper alternative to traditional aeration, however they will still charge you hundreds of dollars to spray a relatively cheap chemical on your lawn that is significantly less effective at penetrating you detritus layer. When I was a tech, they told me if there is heavy leaf coverage on the ground, go ahead and spray the liquid aeration solution on top of the leaves. The solution does not 'soak through' the leaves into the ground, therefore there is no aeration effect occuring whatsoever. Experigreen doesnt care though, they will seed on top of it anyway, and when the grass doesnt grow, they will just continue dumping seed on your lawn until your drop them. I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this company. My Mr. and I were looking for a lawn company that could possibly get rid of our Ivy/crab grass. We found ExperiGreen through the Sharonville convention. A gentleman stopped us (very friendly), pulled up our house on Google Maps. He saw how big the yard was and with no hesitation, said that this company can get the job done with 6 visits. I was shocked because they haven't even looked at our yard in person. He was positive they can get rid of the crab grass/Ivy. We stood there for 30 minutes talking to him. I was feeling confident that this is this is the company. Left our information (on the remittance was marked "kill ivy") and our first treatment was in March. Since the ivy was dormant, they didn't do much except treat the grass. My Mr. called at the end of March and asked when is the next appointment. They arrived the 3rd week in April. I noticed on the camera that the gentleman only sprayed the the grass, and not the ivy. My Mr called again that day and he returned a couple of hours later, not getting the job done. He pulled the hose, got on his cell phone and took the hose back down. Claimed that it was a wooded area. That's not what the gentleman at the convention saw. He said it was treatable. When my Mr. got off the phone with customer service, they stated that a manager would call and also visit our home to view the property/yard. After 5 business days, we didn't hear from the manager. I am done. When my Mr. called customer service, they didn't even care or apologized after he cancelled the service. The response: okay....you will receive an email confirmation. They would service our lawn without advance notification and apply treatment while leaves were on the ground rendering the treatment inefficient. We used a small local lawn care company for a lot of years. They were absorbed by ExperiGreen a year or two ago. The treatments seemd to mostly work. There were always issues with weeds and such, but the comments they left on the statement were always something like "everything is great!" The yard was green but a lot of it isn't actually grass, so I never pursued it with them. Yesterday I received a collection letter for a treatment they supposedly did back in February. We don't have a record of that service - they may have done it or not, I don't know. They always left a bill on the porch so it may have blown away or we may have paid it, I can't say for sure. I am certain ExperiGreen has performed at least one treatment this season because I remember speaking to the technician at that time. So, they were here at least once but I don't know what month that was. I called ExperiGreen and they told me we were in collections because we didn't pay that bill from February. I immediately paid the bill with a credit card. I asked the associate if ExperiGreen had made any attempts to contact me since February. She claimed they have an automated system that left several voice messages. I confirmed the phone number they have on file: it was a cell a number we would have checked several times a day. It was our primary phone number. We have no record whatsoever of any voice mail from ExperiGreen or any other company relative to a missing payment. Experigreen recently bought our previous Lawncare service and we allowed them to continue service in 2022. The negative rating is based on the company no longer calling ahead so pets can be brought indoors when they are applying treatments - and when they called to offer a bonus treatment to control mosquitoes - the price they charged was twice as much as quoted and the treatment was not effective. I've Been using organic turf, and now ExperiGreen for 2 years. I noticed a difference in the first year of less weeds and a healthier looking lawn. Eric B was the tech that serviced my lawn today and he was very friendly and wanted to make sure that he could still fertilize today. He took great care when he fertilized because currently my backyard is somewhat wet and made sure not to leave any tire tracks or tear up the turf. Overall I'm pretty pleased, never had any issues with customer service and when shopping for a fertilizing company they were very reasonable. read more

Our first visit was 4 weeks ago. There were weeds present in the grass before a pre emergent was applied. I asked them to spray for weeds on the initial application. One month later.. more weeds now. I've called 3X to request a follow up visit and the phone rep won't give a day or time for a follow up visit. I've also been told I'll receive a call back to get scheduled. 9 days later, still haven't been called. I'll be cancelling and finding a new company with better customer service. read more

BEWARE. If it sounds to good to be true....I found Experigreen on Angi's list and this was one of my biggest mistakes ever. Josh called and I throughly explained our situation with our current lawn service provider and he repeatedly made promises they were so much better! They came out to treat our property and the first service was great! However on the next service, they did not call ahead as agreed upon, no one was home to open our back gate that can ONLY be opened from the inside, so the front yard was treated and when I asked about the back yard, because we were immediately charged for a full service, they actually told me that the technician said he climbed the fence to gain access.. even though our property has 3 cameras and never saw him in the back yard. I reached out to customer service numerous times and they are horrible, only to be told someone would reach out to me to meet with me to evaluate the back yard. After several weeks and NO follow up, and requesting to confirm cancellation of service, someone again showed up without any prior notification and again no access to the back yard, but did call and state he was out and apologized the back yard had not been treated and would set it up to have someone come out to treat it, then again weeks go by with NO communication and I reached out again to confirm cancellation. Oddly enough they must have received that communication because Tim calls and speaks to my husband and promises if we give them another chance they will make it right!! Next HUGE mistake, after making the decision to give them another chance because it did seem sincere Tim and I agreed he would set it up to send someone out to just treat and catch up the back yard at no charge. I confirmed this with him one last time even before hanging up and he said yes this was the case. So the following Tuesday someone came and I noticed on the cameras they were treating the entire yard again, mind you the front was treated maybe 30 days prior. So you can imagine my surprise when I received an immediate notification that they charged our credit card for payment. I immediately contacted Tim and he did apologize and said he would reverse the charge... now 4 days later and the charged was never refunded. I would absolutely avoid them at all cost, because now I have been overcharged by them, they really just want to over promise and steal your money. read more

The product does an adequate job and I liek the fact that parts of it are Organic. However I have now experienced for about the 4th time having them apply product i did not request or approve and billing me for it. Previously they had removed charges for non requested services. this time I was basically told sorry we sent you a letter and they will not remove charges for mosquito spray that I did not request. I requested 2 mosquito treatments in Sept 2022 for a wedding in my back yard, 2 specific applications last year. The rep told me it "auto renewed" and I had to cancel it. Cancel what? I recently was called by Experigreen about a new service--aeration and seeding. Nothing was ever said that it wasn't traditional aeration where plugs were removed from the yard. They simply sprayed a liquid on the lawn which did nothing to aerate the soil. Then they put seed down think in the yard and in my flower beds. I have call numerous times with no resolution. I will be canceling my account with them. If you sell a service you need to stand behind it. read more

My lawn was really bad - full of weeds and just dead looking. After 5 treatments my husband and I are super pleased with the process of our lawn. So many fewer weeds and the grass is much thicker and greener despite the dry hot weather. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm waiting for the results next year from fall seeding and aerating. read more

Wow, I'm glad they reached out to remind me to at least leave a review of their service. They have serviced our yard for a couple of years now and it has had very little improvements. We would request for a call before service which would sometimes happen, sometimes not. (We have dogs). They would come and service a portion of our yard and then not do others. (You can see when granular prevention has been put down and when they were forgotten in the entire back yard). Then they had the nerve to send our bill out for collections while we had a dispute over service. Heck, the one year they even cut my invisible fence line with the aeration service which was clearly marked. (I will give them credit for sending somebody out to fix it). But then they still have not fixed my yard ... how would you feel if your yard still looked like this after a couple of years of service? See pictures. It is winter ... and you can't see the crab grass or the multiple different colors of grass that I now have .... let's just say, I will be finding a new service for this next year. read more

I chose this company after many failures with others. After the first treatment it was apparent not only to me but to their service techs that it did not work so they sent someone out to do a free service. Unfortunately because of the ignorance of the billing department I was billed for the free service. I called numerous times and was told it would be taken care of. I was told it would be taken off. I called to pay my account but unfortunately it showed that this had not been taken care of. I keep getting phone calls daily by recording telling me that my account is on hold because of past due balance. I spoke to someone just two days ago And asked why the problem has not been fixed she took my information and told me that she would have a manager return my call. Unfortunately two days later I have still not gotten a call back I'm still getting is recording telling meet at my Account is past due and on hold. Apparently they're still working on it because it takes several weeks for someone to fix this or even to call back. Would not recommend! read more
