I decided to…read morego with Cincinnati Arbor Services because the owner spoke most knowledgeably about my tree's damage, and the action that needed to be taken. I definitely made the right decision. They don't use any mechanical lift -- all the work is completed by one man in the tree and two on the ground. But they knew their craft well. The "man in the tree" deftly climbed to the break from another tree, kept safe by a series of ropes held by the "men on the ground." They worked well, efficiently, and safely. Even though a huge section of a branch hung high over my neighbor's yard, they were able to cut it from my yard and swing the branch safely away from their property and back to my yard. They were polite and inviting (I wanted to watch and takes pictures, and they invited me to a safe spot), and cleaned up both my yard and that of my neighbor's carefully. They ground up the branches on the spot, and, at my request, left the mulch for my garden. My only concern was their own health -- they weren't wearing ear protection to guard against the hyper-powerful and hyper-noisy chipper. But all told, they did a quick, efficient and safe job with excellent teamwork and friendly customer service!!

Lexy is an arborist's arborist: he has exceptional knowledge of tree biology and care techniques, and he has a team that demonstrates the same expertise and skill. Not to mention, what a heck of a nice group of people to work with. They were all so warm, respectful, and kind, just like Lexy. They worked on a one-hundred-year-old red maple and a one-hundred-year-old hackberry tree in my yard. The red maple was particularly challenging in that it grows in a narrow area between my home and my neighbor's house, and a large portion of the canopy was resting on my neighbor's roof. I watched as they strategized each move to remove the branches that were resting on my neighbor's house while preserving as much of the canopy as possible. The cuts were beautifully made, and unlike other tree companies that just prune, this crew is always conscious of holistically pruning to keep the tree healthy. They also expertly installed three cables in the red maple. The whole crew is well trained in safety techniques, and they take no shortcuts. They took the time to ease each pruned limb down to the ground with extreme care, never hitting my home, my neighbor's home, or the suspended wires in the area. They left my yard in immaculate condition. You can count on a detailed estimate with prices that are more than fair and excellent communication throughout. I can't tell you how many tree care companies I have hired over the years since I have been the volunteer caretaker of the 7-acre Mt. Washington Cemetery for 38 years and I arrange for all the tree work there, but I can't recommend any other tree care company as highly as Simple Thanks.
