The biggest surprise (and why I'm writing this review) is that it's very loud. When people are on phones, Zoom meetings, or chatting with a coworkers/colleagues in the loft, it's at full volume. If you are one to be distracted or if you don't want to where headphones all day, be warned. We were so distracted by the noise we left after 60 minutes. We've worked at other co-working spaces and the policies were always, whisper and if you need to make a phone call you do it in a sound proof booth.

We see how things can easily get out of hand and chaotic. This event was something new offered this year at a $20.00 price point. We were lucky enough to have a few of the MSO at our Sharp Literacy event. This was the whole orchestra! Let me start at the beginning. There was a lot of confusion at this event. We couldn't tell who worked at the event, and whom didn't. Food was more apps than anything else. It was just ok. Nacho bar, hummus, artichoke dip... And drinks on the 6th floor. We are old (40-50) and didn't know we would have to walk up 6 flights of stairs. The elevators were strange to say the least. No buttons on the inside, only on the outside. Once we got upstairs... more poor planning. We kinda found our own stuff to do. There were two free drink stations upstairs with various tasks you had to perform for swag. We got glasses, handcuffs, and some safe house gift certificates and swag. We got to play some of the MSO instruments which I though was very cool. But again, at this event, like "Sharp," I found it very disrespectful that people were talking when the symphony was going on. Common people! Thiis was awesome! I knew most, if not all fo the music. My Dad played a lot of it for me when I was little. I liked how the symphony is trying to connect to the younger generation. So in conclusion, the MSO made the event worth the $20.00. I am not sure there was enough of the Safe House menu to make any conclusions.

Hence malls even in the most beautiful setting, such as this one, was pretty much doomed to go under. There is however a new renaissance coming to Milwaukee and it looks very promising. Its great…read moreto see what was a failing mall/glorified foot court a couple years ago, now a local attraction for locals and visitors. The Avenue has a lot of history behind it, once the only major indoor shopping facility in Milwaukee proper and the one time largest food court in Wisconsin, its great to see the thoughtful re-vamp of a historic part of Milwaukee. The newly re-branded Avenue is considered a shopping center, shared office space, and apartment building. While there are few retail stores, and plans for one or two more, it is not really a shopping center. Just on the other side of the building is a bustling food court wit many great options from local vendors. The many retail stores at one point have been converted to apartments, a creative way of keeping the historic look of the mall space. The space continues to have more potential and its great to see the history that still remains.

Do not rent an office from Regus Milwaukee. In business for over 10 years and have paid many direct…read moreleases. For a change, I rented a virtual office. They tack on Mail Forwarding for an additional $24.00 per month even when you tell them you don't want it. Upon lease renewal, instead of reactivating your old account, they will open a new one, and guess what, mail forwarding is on there and you have to figure out how to "opt out". Good luck the company never answers their phone; you cannot see any payment information or history, their communication is cryptic at best. They are unavailable to you once you sign. They will keep charging you for services you don't authorize. When you try to stop these charges, try to talk to someone, they blow you off and pass you around to 10 people who are all rude and condescending. Run away.
