I ordered replacement cabinet doors and self closing hinges and pulls from this company. I was…read moreoriginally given a timeline of 6-8 weeks. At approximately 11 weeks the doors were delivered, but no hinges or pulls. When I called for the hinges, the owner was at a job site nearby to me, and was extremely put out that she had to drive across town to get the fixtures. I received some of them, but was told that they were "accidentally" put on an installation truck. A couple of days later, I was told that one of the installers stole my hinges and that the ones I was given would have to be "modified" to fit. The doors that were delivered were incomplete. Only the bottom doors were delivered, no top doors. When I called the owner to tell her, she told me that ALL of the doors were delivered to her warehouse, checked in, and had been delivered to me. I insisted she come over and check for herself. She came over with her installer and her inventory list, and found out that, indeed, I was missing my top doors. I might also add that I paid 1/2 the cost up front, and was sent an online bill when she received the doors. At that time I paid the balance. I asked how long it would take to get the rest of the doors, and she told me 2 weeks. Almost 4 weeks went by before I got the top cabinet doors, and then there was still 1 missing. Two more weeks to get the remaining door. Each time there was an issue it was always blamed on someone else--the warehouse manager, the cabinet company, theft, etc. etc. Insinuating that I was lying about being shorted doors was the icing on the cake! I might add that a couple of the doors came in incorrect because she measured wrong. Stay as far away from this company as possible. The owner clearly doesn't pay attention to business.

Superior Granite & Cabinetry - Visiting the showroom for renovation ideas makes a lot of sense!

In need of new countertops for a kitchen remodel, I learned of Jordan and his crew at Superior…read moreGranite & Quartz through a social media post touting their cabinet, granite and quartz services. My daughter was moving into her first apartment while attending school in Tallahassee and we were a month behind on the renovation, having been delayed by the original contractor. We dropped into the Superior showroom without an appointment. With the thought of butcher block (actually my daughter's idea) for countertops, we were quickly sold on quartz. Easy to clean and easy to maintain. Much easier to maintain than butcher block, as explained. Stating our need for urgency, we scheduled measurements and an estimate the following day. Not a big job, but I did not want my daughter moving into her first place without a complete kitchen. Jordan arrived on time for his appointment. He measured and provided samples of quartz products in stock and available for quick installation. We quickly decided and an electronic estimate was provided the same day. Superior Granite & Quartz completed the project in just five days. I'm happy - but more importantly - my daughter is happy.

Five years ago we remodeled our bathrooms and of course we asked Mike to do the cabinetry for them. I asked WHEN that happened & they didn't know. I asked for pictures of the installed countertop. the response: "you want PICTURES?" From first contact, I told them the house could not be rented until the countertop was installed. They promised 3 weeks and delivered it in about 6 weeks or more - don't really know because they don't know if/when it was installed. THEY DID NOT COMMUNICATE. Had they communicated the work was done, I could have scheduled the plumber, cleaner and others earlier than now! M&L does not do the work. They farm it out and they don't manage those vendors. The office staff: the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Buyer beware.

MGM Countertops - My choice....

MGM Countertops

First of all I'd like to say I am a person who does read reviews and I read the reviews for MGM…read morecountertops after I had visited the store.. my husband and I were concerned as there were several negative ones.. But after going to the MGM store we met with Ron and he was just the kind of salesman I like doing business with.. no pressure.. no bull...He showed me what he had and explained the pros and cons of all and told me what the price would be with my measurements .. he let me make up my mind what I wanted and answered all my questions. Ron made the whole experience easy with no stress at all. My husband and I were ready but on a very tight schedule with getting the job completed.. Ron was most accommodating and said he could get the job done within the time frame we needed it .. Ron said he would have Jorge come to measure and he also wanted us to go to their warehouse and see the actual quartz that they would be installing. This part my husband enjoyed as he saw how it is cut and prepared to be installed which was fascinating to him. Jorge drove to Carrabelle to measure and decided we could have a larger bar area which was great. within a few days the installers came and tore out the old granite and installed the quartz.. I was so surprised as have to admit I was nervous knowing they were working around new appliances that had just been delivered. They were fantastic and got job done in only a couple of hours.. they cleaned up nicely and were very polite and very hard working guys. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and these guys worked very hard to make my kitchen perfect for me. One of the installers name was Ryan and Im so sorry I don't remember his helpers name.. I highly recommend MGM for their outstanding service and employees!

Attention seniors -- do not use this business. This company showed us a picture of the material…read morethat they were supposed to use. When they came to install the counter tops, the first thing they did was rip out the old counter tops. Then they brought in the countertop into the house, it was not what we ordered. I swear a 12 year old with a photograph could have seen that something was wrong. MGM just does not pay attention. It is just a case of fraud. If they had not ripped out our old kitchen, I would have refused the installation, my wife and I would have reconsidered the job completely. In fact, we did refuse completing the installation for a week to see if we could get the countertop we wanted. We went a week without a kitchen and then because of our schedules, we had to accept the counter top. They discounted the purchase, but now we have something we don't want -- The worse part is when they installed the sink, they used the wrong sink. White's plumbing came and evaluated the job, the disposal water exit is lower than the drain leaving the house. The plumber said that there is no way to plumb the job, unless we pay thousands to cut out the back of the cabinet, move the pipe behind the cabinets down, inside the wall. That is what mgm considers the 'right thing' rather than just buying another $450 sink and replacing it for us. They screwed up, did not measure to make sure they were using the correct sink and we are paying the price. When questioned why we are in this situation they said "We don't measure the sink." That's odd because the other 2 companies did measure the sink and tried to make sure that they would sell us the appropriate sink. MGM is completely CARELESS. Again, had they MEASURED the tolerances under sink they would have realized that we need a 7"deep sink. They refuse to do anything, saying instead that we should spend thousands to have a major construction done to make their sink work, rather than using the correct equipment. So we are stuck with a countertop we did not order, a disposal that cannot be reconnected. Now we have to by another sink and hire another contractor to finish the installation. That is above and beyond the price of the contract.
