It's dimly lit with R&B playing in the background. There are neon signs adorning the darkly painted walls. I sat myself, and the staff came and brought the menu. The menu is hookahs and non-alcoholic drinks. I ordered a orange, watermelon, and mint hookah using AF tobacco in a grapefruit head, along with a mug of mint tea. The hookah took a few minutes to arrive but it smoked well and had good flavor. The mint tea came sweetened, a little too much for my liking. It's a solid hookah bar to chill and smoke. They have Wi-Fi so you can relax with your hookah while browsing. Definitely would return if I were in the area again

Three stories that you can freely move though depending on your desired atmosphere. First floor is the restaurant (we had already eaten so didn't get a chance to try the food), second is the bar with a plethora of board games to choose from, a pool table and a dart board (darts were broken at the time but more were ordered). And the third floor is a video game ice cream parlor. We received a quick tour of the place and were told it is kid friendly until 9pm, which sounds great if you have a video game, ice cream lovin' kid (or husband). The staff was extremely friendly and the music was perfect for the vibe in the building.

Here's the issue, the bartender literally messed up all of our old fashions. We brought it to their attention and they still charged us even though we did not drink. We asked for something else instead but they just tacked it on the bill. They also charged 22% gratuity, which is ridiculous. Typically the standard is 20%. Additionally, all the men were patted down and the ladies were not. Service was not good and the bartender is TRASH!!! I would not recommend this place!

Can a dive bar be cute? If so, The Lounge is a cute dive bar…read more It is simply decorated, compact in size and a welcoming atmosphere. I discovered, The Lounge because I arrived super early for a wine tasting at another business in the plaza. My friend and I were immediately won over, when we saw the bar dog. Her name is, Lucy. I liked that the front window is tinted so you cannot see in, but once inside you can clearly see the outside. If you like to play slots while you sip your inexpensive cocktail, The Lounge has about 4 or 6 machines for you to play. If you do, good luck. Best of all, the drinks are super affordable aka "cheap". The bartender was friendly to us being newcomers. Seeing the rest of the patrons at the bar and every stool was full, you could tell they were regulars at this neighborhood watering hole. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd definitely stop by for a cocktail.
