This is essentially the student place to go so there are various discounts available on entrance and on drinks. So the club? Basically there are two floors, plenty of toilets, being served at the bar is extremely easy considering the amount of people that are packed in there so you never get annoyed at waiting and can dance the night away at your leisure. A good point? They ban drinks on the dance floor so you're not usually sticking to the floor or standing on glass every two minutes like in some places. This is definately a place to go.

Some girls were running around bar foot because they couldn't handle the hooker heels that seems to be so popular right now (2010). Have a couple shots (strong ones) then grab a chaser and enjoy the night. A great place to dance and get stupid. And in my case get raped by a butch lesbian and her senior citizen old mother. Split across 2 floors, the club itself isn't a bad layout, but they do have a well-known drug problem on the top floor, which most people would understandably rather avoid. To add to the already poor image, they also have extortionate prices for their drinks with a vodka and red bull setting you back almost £5! The only plus side to going to Espionage is that they do play good music pretty much every night, but personally that's not enough to get me back there through choice. For anybody who does happen to like the place, they do offer a membership scheme that can get you cheaper drinks and they do also run some theme nights that can be good for a laugh. Despite all the negative points, I've rated this with 2 stars as there is a new manager taking over shortly so I do have high hopes for the future. If they can only clear up the drug problem, the under-age drinkers and review the drink prices, this would be a 4/5 star club. Here's to the future!

The Clientele is mainly fat middle aged men or Hen parties. Both are irritating. Funny smell in the lavs too. I left my friends lolling around drunk on one of the brightly coloured bonkettes up at the back and slipped away quietly into the night...or the Baker just up the road.

One of them is a members only floor that gives you cheaper drinks if you're a member (it's definately worth joining as you get discounted entrance fee) The entrance fee can be quite bad, i heard someone saying it was £8 to get in (Why anyone would pay that i'm not sure, fortuantely we know the bouncers so got in for free anyway). Upstairs has quite a large dance area, it's own bar and a seated area along with toilets. The toilets here were just disgusting and i left to go somewhere else and came back after i'd been to the toilet. It also seems prone to fights, whilst i was there, there were three separate big fights, two of which the police were involved and the bouncers ended up covered in blood. Not somewhere you would want to spend your night through choice.
