The staff was so friendly. The forms were easy to fill out. I cannot give anything away here - just go and experience! We did the Mayor's office. At a 22% rate for getting out I thought we were sunk in the first 11 minutes. So many great puzzles to solve and the thrill when we figured out a code or found a key was awesome. Great value for the cost. During a time when there is little to do, we were safe in our small group, locked in a room ( well more than one room as you worked through it). This was the perfect way to spend an afternoon followed up with take home food from a Downtown Kitchener restaurant. ....we got out!!!! Can't wait to do another room. Thank you Kitchener team for a stellar experience.

It really adds to the whole environment and experience. The clues tied together really well although there was no story or theme to it. Adventure Rooms only has two rooms and they do not change frequently. The passing rate of the first room (Game #1) is 20% and the second room (Game #2) is 25%. So, not a high passing rate for either. The rooms are European style as well so you go through a house, basically. What made Adventure Rooms a lot of fun was the fact that it involved many little steps/puzzles that you had to solve to get out, rather than just one hard problem. This is one of our top places, and we can't wait to go back for Game #2!

I loved the staff but for sure the interior is...drafty and I found although the game itself was fun, some actions worked poorly to open up the next clue.

We had a great time…read more I've done a few escape rooms previously, and there's several different styles. Some with very clear & obvious puzzles (padlock on a box), others with more abstract (place the idol on the pedestal, tilt the picture frame to straighten the horizon). The room we did at The Ultimate Escape was The Curiosity Shoppe. It fits into the clear and obvious puzzle category (lots of boxes with locks). But there was enough variety and unique items that it didn't feel repetitive. The puzzles themselves were varied and fun. We were a group of three (minding two babies), with two of us having escape room experience. We escaped with 5 minutes to spare. Large experienced groups may find this particular room a bit easy. We would absolutely go back and try their other rooms.

The Round Table…read moreis a really unique place in Guelph (or really any city) with loads of table-top, board and card games to fit most preferences. It's a really great environment to try new games you might not otherwise have a chance to play. The 3 hours I spent there seemed to fly by. The owner/operators are very friendly and attentive. They've clearly poured a lot time and effort into making the aesthetics of the place a haven for geeks of all vices. The Arthurian theme permeates from the establishment title, to the faux stone wall interior and literal sword in the stone sitting in the center of the main room. Apparently a full kitchen with food and drinks is coming soon which is more than enough incentive to bring me back to Camelot. Personally, I'm hoping for an over-sized turkey leg and goblet of wine combo deal.

This experience went pretty well, and the one employee on site did make some effort to assist people for a little bit. Ultimately the company had a good experience, though I wasn't a fan of the actual axes (the grips seemed slippery and the blades were dull) or targets (dull axes would bounce off the areas of the targets that hadn't been hit a few times already) or the relative lack of guidance (multiple times people walked towards their target while the person standing next to them prepared to throw).

The seats were incredible and we had a fantastic view of the stage from the left centre orchestra. When I looked up, I was surprised to see that the hall appeared bigger than the TSO. There were multiple decks of seats and many people could fit into the venue. The employees were all very friendly and the beverages were well priced. We found it challenging to park in the area due to all of the traffic and one way streets but once we found the entrance to the hall (we first went in the wrong door) it was a pleasant experience to the very end. I noticed people dressed up more for the symphony here than they do in Toronto, which is an interesting observation. Would we return? Absolutely!
