I contracted with Kathleen last summer after she tenaciously went after my listing. Her initial timeliness and ferocity is what made me choose her over others. She held 2 open houses early, both of which resulted in offers. Both offers fell through and I certainly don't hold that against her. After the 2nd offer fell through, she convinced me to drop the price - twice. I did. I repeatedly asked her to hold additional open houses and she said she would -- and then NEVER did. She then told me that "open houses don't sell homes" . Mr. Goldsmith, I'm smart enough to know that a) if that were true, realtors wouldn't have them and b) if two open houses in MY house each yielded offers, that CERTAINLY isn't true. In addition, I also understand that seeing a house (especially a challenging house like mine) during an open house when lights are on, candles lit, AC at the proper temperature and a knowledgeable guide is much more conducive to bringing in offers than providing a showing-realtor a key code -- walking into a dark house and wandering around with a realtor who has never been there and who has no information. In addition, I was supposed to get month end reports each month and the last report I received was for September activity. My listing expired January 9th. I did not receive reports for October, November, December or beginning January. Nor was I provided with any follow up information -- where your realtor provides some PROOF that she WORKED after gaining the first listing. It is clear to me that the realtor dropped the ball and became uninterested in selling my property. I asked to to cancel her contract and, as I suspected she would, did not bother to reply. I have MANY emails from me to her and her assistant begging to schedule open houses....and her reply was always "OK" -- especially on phone calls. My property is a fixer upper and was priced as such. It wasn't marketed as such and no follow up with outside agents was ever conducted. I suggested that it should be and that investors would be interested. It is the lowest priced home in the area and should have sold, despite needing some repairs.

Rude, dismissive, uninterested in selling this house or any to the potential home buyers who passed through. Never encountered such nonchalance from agent. Time to retire old man.

    The realtor for the purchaser of my home, whose initials are TH, neglected to make sure all of the…read moreitems his clients signed as part of the contract were executed and now I'm left owning a solar system on a home I don't own any more. His clients signed an agreement in December, the closing occurred in February, and I found out they never put in an app to take over the system when I was billed the second time. I messaged TH, to which he replied "I can't put a phone in her hand." So unprofessional and arrogant! He couldn't make sure his client did this task, one he'd assured my realtor he had done, yet he made sure everything else that would benefit him was complete? He was beyond rude and unresponsive to my requests for updates on his clients and was very nonchalant about it. When I also messaged the owner of this particular office, he assured me he would be on top of it but has also yet to return my inquiries asking who was going to be reimbursing me for the monthly fees I was still paying. All of this was supposed to be taken care of at the closing. That was a month ago, and I still have no closure. I'm also still waiting for them to return my messages. I advised my realtor that I would escalate this as needed. I hope this review helps someone or it helps spark a fire under TH so he can complete the job he has already reaped the rewards from.

    Cathy Curley - Best Real Estate Agent! I was in Vero Beach…read morein June and had a planned meeting with the rental agent I had been corresponding with for over a year. The plan was to look at some of the available annual rentals, in preparation for my relocation to Vero Beach. Upon my arrival, I contacted the agent and he responded that he was unexpectedly out of town scuba diving, so I was left to my own devices for being able to see any of the rental units he had been sending me. Since I was only in town for two planned days, and needed an agent to get me into the available rentals, I didn't know what to do. I had the incredible fortune of walking up to the outside office of Dale Sorensen on Ocean Dr and meeting Cathy Curley. Though she is primarily a sales agent, she dropped everything she was doing and spent 5 hours with me, tracking down listing agents and arranging for us to see the few available annual rentals. Though she was trying to get her family ready to leave for a 3 week trip in two days, she devoted a huge amount of time and effort to helping me. She even kept in touch while she was on vacation and we were able to secure an annual rental that met all of my needs. She couldn't have been more accommodating or professional through the entire process. She is the only agent I will use when I'm ready to purchase a home in Vero Beach...outstanding!

    Was cold called by this "experienced and established" agent today multiple times on my cell and…read morefamily's. Josh Thompson would not allow me to speak as I asked him to please stop calling my family's cell phone asking for listings on a sunday especially. Man was rude, pushy asking me to verify my cell phone and speaking over me asking if we had a listing agent. (Why would anyone list with you in that condition is beyond me.) Individual hung up mid sentence. Return dialed the number I had received calls from. Mr. Thompson asked me if I would like to continue the "conversation" of which I said, " We list multiple properties in the area and will not be listing or selling to your clients. Do not contact me in the future for either." He again interrupted me mid sentence and said- "So shut up then" and hung up. We do not hire people like this to list our properties. An agent of an experienced firm cold calling and behaving like this is shocking. I would not recommend this firm for listing your property or finding you one due to the level of unprofessionalism. We have bought and sold in the area for years, and I have never come across a single individual like this. Fancy website, dirty bad business. *Go elsewhere.*

She knew the property and the community and could sell it in our opinion in this depressed selling market. Her careful assessment of what was on sale and nearby our home was Key. We then selected a price together that made it very marketable. It sold by the first person who it was showed to one day after losing and closed in less than 30 days! Wow right? She was patient with my husband and I continuous questions and she gave us the facts to make responsible decisions.
