On all occasions they have been prompt, courteous and helpful.

Flat Fee did not set up an online account for my property until 2 months into the lease, nor did they communicate with me to confirm the status of the property. I couldn't check my account balance/had no way to verify if the rent payment was actually coming in. When I attempted to contact them to ask, I had a very hard time getting anyone on the phone. Also, one set of the keys I left was lost even before the tenant moved in. In attempting to schedule a repair for the property, they scheduled an appointment with the wrong type of repairman (HVAC for a plumbing issue). I'm just hoping the travel fee from the HVAC repairman doesn't get passed on to me.

Once we determined none of the existing inventory fit our needs, he helped guide us through the purchase of a lot and a custom home construction. During the negotiations, he kept me from negotiating against myself and helped fill in gaps in knowledge by using his resources at Sotheby's. Bottom line, I trust him, and I will be using him for future transactions. UPDATE: In April '17, I put up a condo I owned up for sale, and used David as my agent. Once again, he did a great job. Took care of the staging, took great photos and helped me get a very good price for my place. Once again, he helped keep the sale steady, never lowered the price, because he *knew* that the condo would sell. He was right. Thank you, David!

Kara Ellis - Can't say enough good things. Go with her, the best…read more Kara found me my first home. I worked with her after unsuccessfully hiring two other realtors who were unsatisfactory. Kara is who you want on your side. The DC area real estate market is complex and she brings intimate knowledge of the market, excellent skills in negotiating and the experience to close contentious deals with unflappable professionalism under pressure. What is most important though is her integrity and honesty in acting in her clients best interests and tenacity in seeing you through what can be a challenging process in such a tough market. She found me my house 2 days before an open house was scheduled, we went to see it that day and made the offer. The seller rejected the first offer, we counter offered, they countered, and we negotiated and finally met the price point within my budget and that satisfied the seller. She also has great knowledge of the mortgage procedure, grants etc. which can be a major benefit to homebuyers. I put Kara under a lot of pressure to find me exactly what I needed on a tight timeframe and she delivered. She also stuck with the sale well after the close to ensure that everything was handled by the seller satisfactorily. She is also very nice, and will be a calm, respectful, conscientious ally in all things related to real estate.

Literally 1+ year later I emailed them and he remembered me by name. Wow! That really impressed me. I needed their help to find a tenant and rent out my investment property at the Bryson in Herndon. I didn't have high expectations because I heard from other agents that things were slow because of coronavirus. Despite the COVID-19 situation they were able to get my property rented in a little under three weeks! I know they list and sell condos as well so I'll certainly be getting in touch when the market is right. Shout out to "The Worker Bees".

My husband and I are pretty experienced homeowners having bought and sold 8 properties over the past 20 years. Amrish is truly one of the best in the business. He is outstanding and fast in finding high quality tenants and in marketing condos for sale. In each case of tenant acquisition, he secured individuals who were absolutely model tenants...Quiet, clean, no damage, and paid their rent early each month! Regarding our recent sale of a condo, Amrish came through again. It was a unique property with virtually no comps, so we worked together to figure out the right price and he had great marketing ideas and process. We priced it relatively high and figured it might sit a while in http://bigtalk.isbm.org/rder to find the right buyer. In fact, it sold very quickly and we received two full-price offers. It closed quickly and easily. What a pleasure it has been working with Amrish. He is a great advocate, a great marketer, detail-oriented, and highly professional.

I had big needs (not just wants) and a little (it was pretty small) budget. At the time I purchased my home, the housing market bubble had JUST burst, so not everyone one was aware (I knew, most sellers didn't) and the homes were really overpriced. I for one like a good deal, and would put an offer in to prove it. It took 8 months to find (after looking physically at 70 houses and countless virtually) a house that fit my needs (and wants). Then another month to actually close on a house that fit my little budget. But Toni was SOOOO patient and would continually explain every little detail to my husband and I, and had a team of really great people working with her - contractors, home inspector. She (and they) really did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Ms. Blount for your real estate needs. Warning: You will become highly addicted to Starbucks. She knows where two are in any 5 mile radius.

I saw an ad with the realtor, Cedric Stewart's, name on it. I reached out to him and, he set up a date to come to my school to speak with a group of teachers. He brought along a banker friend to give a presentation on some valuable and interesting information. I gave them some info on me. I got my pre-approval letter from the bank based on the information I gave. From there I told Cedric what type of place I was looking for. He sent me listings and kept in contact almost everyday to see if I was satisfied with the choices I was receiving and to see if I had any questions or concerns. I was very busy for it was the end of the school year. The places I had interest in, he volunteered to look at them at a time that was available for me and my hectic schedule (this was usually very early on Saturday mornings). Sorry Cedric. He was so patient and involved with this home buying process for me. This is my first home, so he answered questions, he gave me plenty of options and explained each one to me. So if I said I was going with something, he would remind me of my other choices and give me three days to research it and think about it and get back to him with an answer. Cedric was with me through the whole process. Anything I needed to get to the banker, he was willing to help with that, all paperwork he made sure I met my deadlines. I started nonchalantly looking for a house at the end of May. I closed on my house in July (45 days)! I was very satisfied with my purchase. The service I received was professional yet on a relating level. Cedric is ethical, non pressuring, honest, timely, loyal, and very trustworthy. I know he was sent by God to help me. Even when one of my grants fell through at the last minute, Cedric, went to work finding options for me because that was the house I wanted. I have recommended and will still be recommending my agent Cedric Stewart to everyone I come in contact with.
