Ok, for me to update my review here since I've has more experience with this company. The 5 star rating remains, I would bump it up to 10 stars if I could. Not only did I have a great experience renting and selling my place, I also learned some lessons along the way. I originally bought my condo with NVAcondos, and decided to rent it out for investment purposes a.k.a to move back home and save money for a minute. I had my condo listed to be rented out with another agency because I took my parents advice and went with their realtor. Lesson 1: Your PARENTS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. My condo sat around for 4 months with no one in it. No bueno. Since I had such a great experience buying my condo from with NVAcondos I decided to give them a shot at renting it out. I had a tenant moved in and paying rent in 3 weeks. FML for not going with them in the first place. That's 4 months of rent people, 4 months! Lesson 2: If you're trying to sell your 1986 Buick Skylark, don't take it over to HBL. My parent's realtor was used to dealing with single family homes, not smaller abodes. Of course they weren't going to be able to rent my place out. They also did all the leg work for me such as running credit scores to make sure my tenant wasn't a bum, weeding out all the tenants who were trying to move in with 7 of the closest family members or worse 2 - 100 pound labs, 6 stray cats, 7 birds, 1 snake, and 25 feeding mice, and working out lease terms and move in dates. They found me a great tenant. He paid his rent on time, I didn't have to hunt him down once, AND he wasn't even a whack job. If you've ever tried to rent your place out by yourself you know what I mean. Lesson 3: (Although I really learned this one on my own) Never try to rent your apartment/townhouse/single family home out on your own, you're not a realtor. People are freaking crazy. 1 posting on Craigslist trying to rent out your place will teach you this life lesson. Let the people who are used to judging the quality of renters do their job. When my guy moved out I was ready to sell my condo. Lesson 4: Owning your own home is freaking expensive. Unfortunately I learned this lesson during the worst time to sell one's home ever. My agent's name was Rich and he was fantastic. Throughout my whole ordeal he was very honest and straightforward with me. He told me what to expect and that's what I got. His experience and knowledge was very comforting. When I was selling my home we go a few lowball offers, which is apparently common in this market. He told me to hold out for something better; I did and in the end I got a great offer. I didn't quite make money, but I didn't end up losing too much either. Lesson 5: Your realtor's experience is beneficial, especially in this market. The whole NVAcondos team was actually great and they're very reachable. I was even able to contact them via text which is perfect for me. If you're in the market to rent a condo/townhouse, get a renter for your condo/townhouse, or buy or sell a condo/townhouse I highly recommend this company! read more

I purchased my condo through Virginia Condo Realty (VCR) in 2006. My VCR agent was incredibly professional, diligent and personal. I was absolutely impressed with the entire process. I want to take this opportunity to share how VCR came to my aid, went the extra mile, in 2011. Due to economics I was forced to file bankruptcy in late 2009. Those of you who have experienced bankruptcy can completely identify with how horrible of an experience this can be. The bankruptcy was finalized in February 2010 and included my mortgage on the condo, the mortgage lender being forced to foreclose on the property. Nevertheless and straightforward, in February 2011 (a year following the bankruptcy) I was contacted by my mortgage lender. Over the course of that past year the lender never went to foreclosure on the condo and was contacting me to instead determine a way to do a short sale. I immediately contacted VCR about the prospect of my having the condo listed as a short sale instead of being foreclosed. This was a chance to further assist in my rebuilding credit. After VCR's counsel on the situation I requested they serve as my representative through the difficult and confusing short sale processes. The short sale took approximately 6-months. During that period of time, again, my VCR agent was incredibly professional, diligent and personal. Due to the complexity of the condo being included in a past bankruptcy there were definitely major hurdles revolving around the short sale process. Yet, my VCR agent cushioned me away from practically all that headache and dealt directly with several institutions to get the job done. We closed this past Friday, October 7th. The real-estate racket can be a tedious profession, particularly these days. I am entirely grateful to VCR. I sought to list my agents name but he humbly requested I not do so - his intent to reflect well on the company as a whole... not solely on an individual. I highly recommend you use VCR as your real-estate representative. No matter how simple or complex the business VCR positively serves their clients best interests. read more

I originally contacted these real estate agents to assist me in selling my home. Got to say....they have some super honest agents working here and when I called, the Realtor I spoke with explained to me the market for sales was tough and that we may not be able to get our price in the current market. How many agents talk you out of listing a condo with them for sale? Not too many in my experience! I called the other big offices in the area (Weichert, ReMax, Long n Foster) and pretty much got one sales pitch after another telling me that I should list with them. Speaking to the NVAcondos agent was a breath of honest air. Anyhow, I kind of knew the sales market was bad and decided to list my condo with NVAcondos Realty for rent. We had showings within the first few days we put the unit on the market. Our agent was flawlessly responsive, keeping us updated of rental showings and then they qualified the tenants. We got to see credit reports and our condo was rented out in two weeks of listing the condo with this agency. A couple of goodies along the way: they emailed all documents (lease, apps, reports), they shot a video of my condo and they always let me know about showings ahead of time. No random folks showing up at my property and knocking on the door. We were delivered everything we were promised and more. I could not be happier! I'll be waiting for the next two years for the metros to come to Tysons Corner and then I am listing my condo for sale with this agency. For now, I would highly recommend them for getting a tenant for your condo, and in the future for condo sales. read more

After I rented out my 3 bedroom townhouse, I needed a place to stay for myself that was within my budget and close to my job in Fairfax. I checked out NVACondos website and found a great 1 bedroom condo 15 from where I work. I put in my information on the online contact form with my credit situation (excellent), move in date (asap!) and the condo I wanted to see. I got a call from the agent within the hour and we set up a time to meet the very next day. I met him at 11.30 which was easy for me as the condo was close to my work. Once I met the agent, I immediately felt comfortable working with him as he was up front and answered all my questions about the unit and amenities. I decided to apply for the condo as it met my budget and was an ideal location. When I got back to my office, I used the online application form and paid the application fee. I could not believe how easy it was. The next day, the agent called me back saying the landlord picked my application as I had good credit and was willing to move in straight away. It turns out his condo was vacant for a long time because the real estate company he used previously was not able to find him a qualified tenant for 3 months! Anyway, once I was approved I moved in the same week. The agent was further help getting the lease to me promptly and having the utilities transferred to my name the day I moved in. Im very pleased with my experience with NVACondos. The whole process was so easy and straight forward. I wish my previous experiences were like then. I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Amrish Pinto, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing encounters I've had in the real estate market. Despite Mr. Pinto having a thorough knowledge of the city, their arrogant and condescending attitude made the entire process unbearable. From the outset, communication was a major issue. Amrish was consistently unresponsive to emails and phone calls, leaving me in the dark about important updates. When I did manage to get in touch, their responses were often curt and dismissive, making me feel as though my concerns were trivial and not worth their time. Their demeanor during our meetings was equally off-putting. Instead of providing helpful advice and guidance, Amrish seemed more interested in showcasing their own expertise and belittling my knowledge and preferences. This arrogance created an uncomfortable atmosphere where I felt undervalued and disrespected. It's a shame that such a knowledgeable agent could provide such a terrible customer experience. Real estate transactions are stressful enough without having to deal with an agent who lacks basic courtesy and communication skills. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against working with Amrish Pinto. Their difficult and condescending nature makes what should be an exciting journey incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Save yourself the trouble and find an agent who actually values and respects their clients. read more

We've had two experiences with NVACondos, both time as owners looking to lease condos. One was about 5 years ago (2008). That was my first experience with using a realtor to find a tenant and while I was a total newbie, my realtor patiently guided me through the process. He found me two potential candidates within a week and we quickly selected one. I was impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He even helped provide a lease filled out with the terms we had agreed to and explained the fine print to both me and the tenants. These tenants were terrific, so when I needed to lease another condo I called the same realtor. Unlike last time, which was in the summer, this time we needed someone in the dead of winter--right after the holidays. NVACondos recommended some repairs that needed to be done, and when we completed those it took several weeks to find a couple of potential tenants. Our realtor took the time to explain how to read the credit scores and make inquiries on our behalf of the tenants. It was a tough choice, but in the end we decided on the couple with the better credit rating. Again, a smooth and professional process. For what it's worth, the lone bad review of this company makes no sense. The realtor doesn't get paid until the lease is signed, so it's not possible for them to have taken any money and not done the work. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. read more

We were absolutely thrilled with NVAcondos !!!!!! From the time I sent them an inquiry to signing the lease, not a day was wasted getting qualified tenants into our condo. I concur with an earlier posting suggesting they rate a 10 if that was an option---they clearly deserve it. We had recently retired and since we were in the area, didn't see that it would be difficult to manage renting our condo ourselves till we tried. For a very reasonable cost, they handed us vetted, qualified tenants within days of initial contact. If you are hesitating - DON'T - one vacant month trying to do it yourself would likely more than justify the very reasonable cost for this primo service. Not sure about you, but I wouldn't begin to know how to verify employment or financial status - nor do I care to ! This was a super experience and when we need new tenants....we will definitely use them again. We also inquired about selling our "luxury condo" in this down market and without hesitation we were told to wait at least a year and see how the market was. . .that it was not a good time to sell - which of course, I already knew, but refreshing to hear it from someone that could have easily benefited if we would list with them. I recently had a wonderful experience renting out my condo with this agent! We wanted a July 1 start date for our condo as we had recently purchased a new home. We tried renting it out ourselves because we thought a condo in Reston Town Center would move quickly, but we just ended up showing it numerous times to everyone who called in three weeks with no success. We went with this company because they have experience renting condos in our area and said the less than 10 day window would not be a problem. Not only was the realtor professional and courteous, but he worked with our schedule and found us great tenants by our desired date. Our realtor went the extra mile with pictures, video and didn't waste our time with showings as he only showed to pre-qualified candidates. Even after the condo was rented, he handed over the keys and paperwork in in a professional manner. There is no slacking with this company, our realtor returned every phone call in a timely manner and texted me updates when things got moving with multiple candidates. NVA Condos has our business for as long as we own the condo and when we do sell it, you better believe we are contacting them first. read more

I found this realty while searching for a condo rental in Mclean. At first I was a bit frustrated with all the "hoops" to jump just to see a condo, but then I understood that they have very specific criteria from landlords to get approvals. We sent the inquiry from the website and within a couple of hours received a response. We took a look at the condo. Was kind of strange at first, but they did a "remote showing". If you use them you'll get what I'm talking about. It was actually pretty convenient. Only thing is that I wished they showed property after hours because it was a bit tough to make it there for a lunch time appointment. Anyway, we saw the condo and then put in an application. The approval took three days, but we got approved and sign the lease that the Broker sent. That part was really easy because we could sign electronically. The part I liked about the process best were "The Worker Bees". I guess it's a group of agents or a team or something like that. They call themselves a hive. They are really responsive and made the whole process very smooth. I would surely work with this company again! read more

Amrish from NVAcondos found us before we even realized how much we needed him! We have always had good luck renting our units through Craigslist - but have found the quality of our applicants really go down in the last 18 months. That has changed since we began our relationship with NVAcondos! We used them to list one of our two properties (we had listed it unsuccessfully over a two 1/2 month period by this time) - they found our new tenant within three weeks with none of the legwork and worry involved in listing it ourselves. It was a no-brainer for us to ask Amrish to list our second rental property for us - we were not disappointed at all! Although this most recent tenant acquisition journey was more emotional for me (for various reasons) and it took a little bit longer than what I had anticipated (due to the early fall season / a slower time of the year and due to my unexpected need to paint my condo one neutral color - down from the 7 colors that I had painted it when I was living there), I am sooooo pleased (and relieved) that the journey has ended so well ! My realtor was very professional, informative and knowledgeable. The strategy that he offered to attract quality tenants (as the clock was quickly ticking, and as more and more condos appeared on the market) worked wonderfully ... and just within the 45 day rental listing agreement that NVA condos offers. A very suitable tenant for my condo is moving in at the beginning of the month and I am just excited about this move as he is. Since the entire process was well-conducted and very smooth sailing, I will definitely use NVA condos again. read more

My realtor definitely listened to what I was interested in seeing and showed me what was within my budget. My realtor took me out the first time to about 10 listings, he listened well and I found 2 properties I was interested in of those. My realtor did some research on them and the next weekend we looked them both over again. My realtor had patience to listen to me run several senarios of how it would be and how I would pay for it. Really professional in that he did not pressure me to "buy now" just to make a quick sale. All my questions regarding the properties I was interested in were answered in a timely manner. My realtor did a good job of walking me throught the process of putting a contract in on the one I decided was best for me. Great experience for a first time buyer like myself. read more

I have a condo in Fair Lakes. With Craigslist I got many inquiries. After a couple of months of many calls and many flaky potential renters and losing money making mortgage payments, I contacted NVACondos. They showed my condo to several serious people almost immediately. Within about a week I had a signed lease after appropriate checks on tenants. This was even accomplished despite the fact that I was out of town on a pre-planned trip. I just wish I had called them sooner instead of trying to save the fees. The fee was certainly worth my time and the headaches I could have avoided. Of course I will be calling them when these tenants move out. Also had I called them earlier I probably would have made some different better decisions on improvements made. read more

These guys work in my building in Tysons and I ran into one of their (really nice) agents in the elevator. He dropped a business card on me an I didn't get in touch for over a year. Literally 1+ year later I emailed them and he remembered me by name. Wow! That really impressed me. I needed their help to find a tenant and rent out my investment property at the Bryson in Herndon. I didn't have high expectations because I heard from other agents that things were slow because of coronavirus. Despite the COVID-19 situation they were able to get my property rented in a little under three weeks! VA Condo Rlty sold my investment condo at Lillian Court, helped me buy one at Park Crest and rented that one out. The whole process of three separate transactions took just under two months. In the current market I find that an outstanding achievement. What impressed me most were the videos shot. I wonder how come more Realtors don't use video actually. They took very professional pictures of the property as well. Our real estate agent responded quickly to our emails and text messages...even one weekends! I guess that is when most RE business takes place though. We evaluated Century 21, Re/Max, and also Keller Williams before picking this MUCH SMALLER company, and had a much MUCH BETTER experience! read more

We were given 30 days notice to move out of our apartment in VA, I happened to stumble upon the Virginia Condo Realty website. Our realtor was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. He made himself available immediately and showed us a great condo with everything we were looking for. He facilitated what could have been a very stressful situation and got us moved in within 2 weeks! Our realtor was well informed, not only about our condo but the surrounding area as well. Even the paperwork for our lease agreement was minimal and turned around within days. I would definitely recommend this company! In fact, we plan on using them in the future when we decide to buy property. read more

I used this realty to find a condo for rent when I first move to the area. The Realtor I worked with (Rich) was super helpful. He had a video of the rental condo I wanted online, so I was pretty sure that I wanted the place before I even got there. Anyhow, I scheduled a showing, applied when I got back to the office and was given an approval a day later. Their app is in .pdf format online as well...which is pretty useful. The Realtor also emailed me a copy of the lease, so I could sign and fax it back. The rental application process in comparison to others was pretty seemless. I have leased a condo I bought as an investment three times using a realtor from NVAcondos. I was provided with excellent service each time. My realtor was very professional, prompt and diligent in finding me good tenants. He did not waste my time with unqualified prospective tenants, and gave my frank and useful appraissals about what I needed to do to preapre my property for rental and what a fair market rental rate would be. He was very considerate of my existing tenants and scheduled showings as much as possible to avoid disrupting their tenancy. I have a rental condo in McLean and I have rented it out on my own for several years. It was always a tremendous amount of time and work to do this, showings, credit checks, leases, etc. This year I used NVA Condos. I cannot believe how easy and trouble free NVA Condos made the entire process. I will never handle the rental by myself again. They have access to out of town clients and within two weeks I had perfect tenants at the full rental price I had set. NVA condos took care of all details, even getting the signed lease to the property management company. NVA Condos fee was less than other realtors and well worth the money. read more
