However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

As for us grandmas, our favorite part was watching the kids have such a great time and being able to let them free to be kids. Seriously- from drawing on walls to virtually reality ax throwing tic-tac-toe there is a new adventure behind every door. I

From the beginning of our working relationship Mindy was great about communication -- both with her client and with me. While there can be a lot of room for misunderstanding and miscommunication in the process of planning a wedding, Mindy bridged any potential gaps like a true professional. It was the level of care she took for her clients that stood out to me the most. Throughout the process she was always on top of scheduling and keeping the to-do list on track. She was present for the key meetings and shoots, but was also happy to give her clients space when they wanted to work through things directly with me. Her organization of the wedding weekend was complete, and left just enough room for the bride and groom to take a breath between activities. It was neither overwhelmingly busybusybusy, nor was it lax to the point that things got out of hand. She did a great job setting and maintaining expectations, and the bride and groom were easily able to enjoy their wedding weekend, knowing full well that Mindy had crossed every T and dotted every I. Mindy is a huge asset when planning a wedding, and any bride would be lucky to have access to her services. I would -- and do -- heartily recommend her.

If anyone ever deserved a Yelp six-star rating, it would be Mindy. She is a force that cannot be contained within the confines of five stars! I'm convinced she could rule the world if she really wanted to. I got married on April 13th in Austin, Texas and was lucky enough to have Mindy as my day of event coordinator. I don't think that I'm exaggerating when I say that she absolutely saved my sanity. We had family drama brewing, a ton of last minute cancellations that messed up the seating chart...when the time came, I had to just hand over the day (and the seating chart, for that matter) to her. And I was happy to do it, because she is a wonderfully take-charge sort of woman. I basically threw a bunch of things in a few cases and rented a bunch of stuff that I thought went with my wedding "vision," which I told Mindy about in my own flighty way, but she totally got it and put it together flawlessly. People are still telling me that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. Had Mindy not been there, people would still be talking about it, but there's a significant chance they would be talking about what a total disaster it was! The peace of mind you get with Mindy managing your event is absolutely priceless. If anything went wrong the day of the wedding, I never knew it. A little secret about me: I'm a COMPLETE control freak. After all the time and energy I spent planning the wedding, you had better believe it normally would have been a real challenge for me to hand over the reins to someone else, but I felt like Mindy had everything under control. She gets things DONE, she has impeccable taste, she pays close attention to detail. She's experienced, thorough, knowledgeable and just downright awesome in general. Everyone loved her - friends, family, vendors, and most especially, me! I think that she also specializes in other events besides weddings - whatever you're planning, do yourself a favor and bring her in, you will absolutely not be sorry. I would present my wedding pictures as evidence - there I am in the salon, sipping champagne and laughing it up with my friends. Without Mindy, the pictures would have been of me ripping my hair out in patches as I tried to direct my rambunctious family in set-up. A million thanks to Mindy Reynolds of West of Honey for the perfect wedding day.

People won't remember what they ate but they'll remember if it was exceptional, and Posh Affair was more than exceptional. We were able to set up a tasting about a year out from our wedding. We were able to choose items we wanted to try. We sat and spoke with Alexis about menu options, catering styles, rentals, and the flow of the day. She was very thorough and I knew that all would be covered. She didn't miss a detail. Alexis was prompt with all communication prior to the wedding. On the wedding day, The Posh Affair was on time and got straight to work. The food was even better than I remembered at the tasting and Alexis made sure that the wedding party did not miss out on any food. They made the extra effort to find us during photos and bring us appetizers. Our guests have not been able to stop raving about the food and service. All servers were happy and very professional. The family style service was a big hit. No one was left hungry and people had the options for seconds if desired. If you choose to go with Alexis and her team, you will be well taken care of and you will not regret it. I know we will be dreaming of our wedding food for years to come. We are grateful to have been able to work with an amazing catering company.
