Pacos is the most inconsistent restaurant I have ever been to, the food has a constant inconstancy to it! If you are with another person and order the same thing the quality will never be the same. I remember last year I came here to catch up with my sister over dinner. I ordered the T-bone steak expecting a wonderful juicy flavour filled piece of meat. I was wrong it was raw and had a horrible outside. I was extremely disappointed! But there are times where the food is of high quality such as the bbq ribs that where succulent and delicious. Overall pacos makes me want to live for another 100 years just to see where it will be. But right now they need to focus on getting there act together. Not unlike Gerry's in Leeds/Soho or Astor Wines in NYC, this shop offers enough variety and substance to satisfy most any liquor lover. Beyond a product selection that could leave me browsing the shelves for hours, the staff is knowledgeable (and trying to become even more so!), welcoming, and the space is noteworthy in its own right. Ask about the cashier's counter sometime - it's a piece to be pondered and appreciated. I'm excited about the forthcoming tasting room to come, and hope that local Glaswegians come to admire and adore this liquid gold outlet for the treasure it already is.

The owner was very nice and had an in depth understanding about whiskey and cigars.
