A couple of years later, I was contacted by a lawyer because the friend wanted to sell the property. I reached out to Lawvex for help. After paying about $800, I was told the will wasn't clear and that I basically had no rights to the property unless I wanted to challenge it. That would mean involving my siblings and going through another legal process that would cost thousands of dollars. In other words, if I didn't have that kind of money, they couldn't help me. Thank God I listened to His voice and continued to show up to court on my own, even without representation. The judge immediately recognized that I did in fact have rights to the property, and in the end I inherited a portion of the sale. No thanks to Lawvex--thanks to the judge (and God).

She was located in the back of another business which we thought odd but when we sat with her, discussing what we needed, what she'd need to do and we decided to move forward, she then told us the cost. We we're like wait, what?! How could she possibly charge so little?! She told us because she's in the back of another business her overhead was low enabling her to pass along the savings to us and charge less! We got past the location real fast lol. Kari is very personable, friendly and very knowledgeable. She processed our paperwork quickly and everything was legal in about 2wks, start to finish. It's been 2yrs and she has handled many different legal issues and documents for us with all the precision of any attorney. I say this often but it's so true in almost every situation but you get what you pay for and for me, I get the very best every single time Kari has done work for me. Now, with this all said, someone might think I want a real attorney with a real office not someone in the back of another business. Well, I say you go right ahead and pay for all that overhead. For me if I can get the same thing accomplished for probably a fraction of the price, I'm going to keep that money I didn't spend on a fancy location in MY pocket and not someone else's. Kari is the real deal and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

I recently contacted Frank Huerta's office by phone regarding a client of mine (I am a Certified…read moreManagement Accountant) who I felt might benefit from the services of a tax attorney regarding a possible Offer in Compromise with the IRS. Mr. Huerta was very cordial, listened carefully as I recounted my client's current tax predicament, and then carefully reviewed with me the pros and cons of both a 6-year Installment Agreement vs. an Offer in Compromise to settle my client's tax debt. He explained these options clearly and carefully, gave me his input regarding what he felt would most likely be the best option for my client based on his current circumstances, and left me with a much clearer understanding of the choices to be made (which would most likely not require the services of a tax attorney at this time). I was truly impressed by Mr. Huerta's outstanding client service (to a non-client no less!), and found ihis input extremely helpful. There is no doubt that any time in the future one of my clients needs a tax attorney, I will be referring him or her to Mr. Huerta for assistance!

I had a complicated situation involving CPS where dad was able to obtain full custody of the child,…read moredespite his history, habits, and no due diligence on the county's part. We had to try twice to get the child back, once the CPS case closed. The first time, the judge was new and hesitant to flip custody. However, Dushawn fought and was able to get it back to 50/50 with weekend visits. The second time, with the child's testimony, he felt it was a good idea to pursue a restraining order instead. He became both my advocate and my child's, at this point. He was able to convince dad to do a custody modification (including to dad get the help he needed too) and we closed the restraining order. After nearly a year and a half of fighting, my child was safe and home. The system failed him, but Dushawn didn't! For this, I am extremely grateful for him and everything he has did. He did not over charge, either. I probably underpaid him, honestly. I definitely recommend him and will only go back to him. My advise is to open up with him. He will do everything, but you have to be honest. The more he knows, the more he will help you. Every case is different and there is always options.
