After a blizzard dumped a ton of snow on my poor Texas car, leaving it cold and sad and wheels…read morefilled with ice creating an imbalance, I decided to get it washed hoping the warm water would melt the snow and ice covering my car like a tight glove. Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by a very professional young man and the window. He pointed out my options, I selected one and headed through. A second man guided me into the rail which pulls your car along the wash. After the first wash didn't do the job, I pulled around and I was graciously allowed to go through a second time. After the second time didn't do the job, I pulled and poked the remaining snow and ice off the car and drove around for a third pass, which I was allowed to do, free of charge. The third time didn't the trick. Although I didn't take off a star for the wash not doing a superb job, I felt at best that would be just a half star off. The saving grace was the staff being very friendly and helpful (allowing a few extra passes). Customer service is very important to me and the Ship Shape Car Wash had that in spades! One note for the owners (if they review these comments) is to perhaps turn up the pressure or water temp? Overall, a very pleasant experience!

I just had my car detailed today. I scheduled it for 11am but they called me and asked me to move…read moreit to 7:30am due to "staffing issues". Ok, that was far less convenient for me since it was a Sat and I have two little kids. But, I accepted. So, that meant a $10 Uber ride after I dropped it off. Then, they said it would be done by 11am. It was done at 9:45am and called me to tell me that they might be closing early due to the rain. So, I got there at noon, not knowing if they'd be closed. I had two $20 coupons but they only accepted one even though NOTHING on the coupons said that. Then they tell me when I get the car that I'll need to leave it in the garage for 24 hrs while everything dries out. They NEVER said that when I made the appointment. Luckily we have a 2nd car. So, I get the car home, put it in the garage, leave the doors and windows open to dry out. Then I take out the carpet mats to let them dry out. One of them is literally DRIPPING water. I called and they said they could extract them again. So I brought it back and they did, but said, "I said I told you they'd be wet". Just awful all the way around. Don't go here. I have attached pics of my rubber floor mats that were "cleaned". It looks like they just sprayed them with water.
