I called them Monday-the man that answered could tell me nothing and said the owner would call me back. He did, and I told him I needed 4 teens taken to prom that Saturday. He quoted me a price, which seemed fair, and I told him that I did want to book it. He said he was driving and would have the person with him write down approximate times. I told him I'd call him later that day with definite times. He knew the pick up and drop off location. We even agreed upon him bringing the kids home as well and the definite amount it would cost with gratuity was agreed upon. He stated "I'll pencil you in". He asked if I planned to give a deposit, and I said I'd just pay the full amount. When I called back that evening to provide my exact times and pay, first he seemed to not know what I was talking about so I was already getting skeptical, then he said he had someone else call and they paid him so he did not think he had a car available. I said I thought he told me he was "penciling me in". He got snippy and said "that's what I was trying to tell you earlier, you had to leave a deposit." He did not tell me that, and I had told him I was going to pay the full amount. He had my cell number, as a professional he should have at least called me prior to booking the limo to someone else. So then he said he was going to check and see if there was a car available and call me in 45 minutes. Never called me back. So I have four teens very disappointed as they thought they were getting a limo and are not. I sure hope they actually show up to pick up whoever booked that limo that we were supposed to get. I mean, I am buying a puppy and the owner called to let me know other people were interested as I could not get there to give a deposit for two days. And she had made me no promises. I confirmed I still wanted the puppy and she did not sell it to them. She called me first. I take "pencil you in" as you have the date saved and the limo is mine for the evening, just working out the details later since he was driving. I called back the same day, not two days later.
