If I could give 0 stars, I damn well would. This location and its managers are a JOKE. Went in to…read moredeposit a larger scale check and they accused us of fraud and forging the check. We provided the necessary documents for the check approval and they still profiled us and accused. Made comments about our age, appearance, and threatened to rip up the check and call the cops. I am appalled at how we were treated, and the way these 2 managers spoke. Male and female Hispanics. We decided to leave and go to the Santa Rosa location. They processed our check no problem and we shared our terrible experience in Windsor. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. They advised us to never go back to your location and that we weren't the first to have terrible experiences. I hope your managers learn a thing or two about managing and customer service etiquette, or better yet, fire them! Your establishment is DISGUSTING.

While Redwood Credit Union is a great wonderful local credit union, each location has its pros and…read morecons. This particular location seems to have a middle of the road pro vs con scenario. While the staff is wonderful, the lines are usually atrocious and take awhile as every time I am there, there is only one teller or two at most. Another con is the slow technology integration, in terms of the outside ATM. Every other location seems to have the new ATM systems that are much more secure, but not a huge loss or annoyance. So while I continue to bank here as the CU is wonderful, this location just needs a few things to spruce it up.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, greeting me as soon as I entered the door. After having…read moreissues with another local credit union, I had to come in to look for local accounts and after hearing good things I tried them out and was happy with the service. It's unfortunate that they are only open 3 days a week, but they have another branch 15 minutes south that is open Monday through Friday plus they have a convenient night drop box. When I call having a question or needing help, it is real people who answer and not an automated teller that I have to wait 15 minutes just to speak to someone.

Poor customer service. I'm not a member of North Bay CU, but I am a credit union member and I used…read moretheir ATM as it is the only CU ATM in the area. At noon, I took out money, but needed to make change for a $20. The actual CU was open today so I went inside and asked. There were two employees at their desks. No one was at the counter as there were no customers. Honestly, this location probably gets maybe 1-2 customers an hour and is only open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Not a lot of foot traffic. I asked if I could get change and the first employee stands up and heads to the counter. Before they could open the drawer, the other employee (supervisor?) states they only provide change to their own members. Again, no other customers inside. Exchanging a $20 for a ten and two $5's is against policy?? It feels suspicious when one person is willing to make change but the other stops them. They aren't busy. Are they low on cash? Is this a request they receive so frequently they can no longer accommodate? There's a mutual agreement between CU's to provide services for each other's members. Obviously this helps them compete with banks. Being a smaller CU, I really hope their members are served better by the larger CU's (Redwood CU) in the area than the non-service I received today.
