Not only have they supported my daughter's growth, but they've also guided me as a parent helping me navigate some very challenging times with care, patience, and understanding. That kind of support is truly priceless. LA Speech & Language Therapy Center more than just an organization it feels like family. The environment is warm, compassionate, and genuinely focused on each individual's success. Most importantly, they've helped my daughter build confidence and feel comfortable in her own skin and also feel supported and make long lasting friendships and there is absolutely nothing more valuable than that. Thank you to Dr. Wiley, Dr. Ashley, and all the therapist and staff that has been committed to every single child that has walked through their doors. Their progress has been nothing short of remarkable--far exceeding what we experienced with previous therapists. Mariah is our fifth speech therapist, and she's truly the most effective we've ever had. In just six weeks, she's helped our children more than any of the others, some of whom worked with them for 1-2 years at a time. I'm so grateful we found Kyra, and that she connected us with Mariah--she is an absolute gem! The entire experience has been fantastic. What I love most is how supportive and compassionate Mariah is. Her deep commitment and genuine care for our children's speech improvement is something truly rare these days. It's clear she's deeply motivated to see them progress, and she makes learning fun for them. This means the world to us. We've been so impressed that we've decided to increase their sessions from once a week to two or three times for quicker progress. Mariah also noticed my willingness to help and thoughtfully suggested compiling homework for me to work on with the kids between sessions--a wonderful extra touch. I have complete trust in her expertise and guidance. Mariah will forever be our favorite speech therapy angel. Thank you!

I had the dreadful experience of losing my singing voice due to multiple factors, which is an extremely stressful dilemma for a performing musician. I visited a laryngologist who determined I had vocal atrophy and recommended voice therapy. I met with Christine and showed her the footage from the scope and she immediately pointed out some spots on my vocal folds that looked suspect (the doctor missed them), and recommended additional testing to rule out problems in addition to atrophy. Christine gave me referrals to some top laryngologists and additional testing indeed revealed that I had more going on, such as acid reflux, which impacted my voice as well. Christine showed me some strategies on how to cut down acid reflux and taught me effective techniques for my voice. With Christine's help my singing voice has quickly returned. She is still helping me to correct some lifelong bad singing habits but it feels great to be able to rely on my voice again with confidence. I highly recommend her! Thank you, Christine!

He was correct and Christine diagnosed him with a posterior tongue tie. He has been seeing her for a few months now and her therapeutic approach has greatly helped my son retrain his tongue muscles which affects his teeth, breathing, speaking, swallowing, etc. She has a calm and reassuring energy and is extremely knowledgeable. In addition to the actual exercises, he receives the myofunctional release massage as well and this works wonders on his neck tension which is caused from the tongue tie. He says he feels more confident after each session! We've decided to move forward with a surgical tongue release and will continue the myofunctional therapy with Christine to assure a successful outcome. I highly reccommend her, she's great!

That's when I reached out to Speech Within Reach, and Nicole quickly connected us with Marcella. Marcella has been incredible. When Max first started working with her nearly a year ago, he was too shy to speak, often self-conscious because others had trouble understanding him. Today, he's a confident, talkative little boy--so much so that he now helps me with how I pronounce certain words! Max truly looks forward to his sessions with Marcella. She makes every lesson fun and engaging, always bringing playful, interactive tools that make learning feel like playtime. I can't recommend Speech Within Reach--and Marcella--highly enough.
