They were both awesome, I had never done anything like this before and did not know what to expect. It was great! I got to the studio and got my hair and makeup done, which was so fun to be pampered! Then mike went over what to expect from the shoot and showed me some pictures of other boudoir shoots so I could visualize what it was going to be like and what the typical poses were. Then he asked to see the outfits I brought with so he could plan backdrops and props. There was a bathroom to change in and at first getting into the outfits was uncomfortable, but once he started taking the photos and showing me the pictures I got more comfortable. He was very professional, if I needed privacy while changing poses he would go to the other room and then come back in when I was ready. He tries to give as much privacy to make you feel comfortable. Going into the shoot I thought it was going to be weird and uncomfortable but it was so much fun! It was such a confidence boost and it helped me feel comfortable in my own skin. Mike and Karen made me feel comfortable and beautiful it was way more than I expected going into the shoot. The photos turned out amazing, Mike was so prompt with getting them to me so I could pick out the ones I wanted and the communication was easy and fast over email. It was a couple days and he had the layout for the book done and now I am just waiting for it to be made! I would recommend Unique Moments to anyone with photography needs!

It was VERY important to us that our photos were beautiful and classic; something that we could hang on our wall forever and never look dated. Our big day was captured perfectly and professionally. Rob met with us beforehand more than once to understand what we were looking for and get a feel for the location. On our wedding day, Rob and his assistant felt like part of the wedding party! He made the task of wrangling frazzled family and guests for pictures fun and efficient. Most importantly, Rob made us feel at ease which made for gorgeous, relaxed photos! The little touches were the most memorable. For instance, joking with my grandparents and keeping me, the sweltering bride in 100 degree weather, shaded with photo equipment. I can't even count how many times Rob's assistant got me water, a job the wedding coordinator was tasked to do and never did. They truly went above and beyond for us. Big moments, little moments and spontaneous fun moments were all captured. I ran after an ice cream truck at one point (spontaneous, but the one thing everyone remembers from my wedding) and Rob was right there shooting. I don't know how he did it, but he got to the truck before I did and got some wonderful shots. Our photos were ready to view soon after we came home from our honeymoon. We were blown away with how gorgeous they were. Our photos tell the story of our wedding day in wonderful detail, right down to what the buffet looked like! My parent's have a great shot of the bar in their kitchen - a fun memory! Too many of my friends have asked other "photographer" friends to shoot their wedding and have been sorely disappointed. Our engagement photos were beautiful. He has more of a photojournalism style than posed photos, which I love. Jay arrived early on our wedding day and had our photography schedule all planned out.
