We understood that working with insurance companies can be a lengthy and complex process, and we approached the situation with patience. However, our experience with EDP Construction's support staff was marked by ongoing communication issues and unmet commitments. When we reached out for updates on scheduling or next steps, we were frequently told, "I don't have an answer for you now, but I'll get back to you either way by [Monday]." Unfortunately, we never received follow-up on any of the dates they provided--this happened consistently. As of today, July 29, we are still waiting for the warranty and labor/material paperwork that was promised to be mailed to us. We were told on July 10 it would be sent, another promised on the 14th, then again on the 18th, and again on the 24th. This pattern has continued without resolution. I also requested to speak directly with the owner, Ector Di Paolo, and asked to leave him a voicemail. I was told he was out of the country for two weeks and that messages can be provided to him by staff. Throughout the past year, the office staff has apologized many times, but the core issue remains: expectations were set and not met. We were repeatedly given timelines and assurances that were not followed through on, and we've had to continually follow up ourselves to get information that was promised. Based on our experience, I would not recommend working with this company at this time.

In fact, they were the most conscientious people and hardest workers we've ever hired!! Who knew roofing could be such an art form? While being surrounded by scaffolding for weeks is not fun, their commitment, clear communication, respectful treatment of the yard and space, and enthusiastic, earnest efforts made it tolerable/even enjoyable :) The people at Renaissance really take pride in their work and treated our home like it was theirs. They are responsive, responsible, and also deliver a really high-quality product. The team worked long, hot days to complete the project timely. And it looks absolutely beautiful!

Someone came out and indicated that there was an area that was done incorrectly and that they would come out to fix the issue when it got warmer. We called in April to follow up, but no one returned our call. We continued to call, but where unable to leave a message because the voicemail box was full. In June, we were finally able to leave a message. Someone called and made an appointment to come out. No one showed up. We have left multiple messages, but have not been called back.

After an interior updating in 2017 we were due for an exterior makeover on our home that's 26 years old. Further, when the old siding was removed we found one third of the house didn't have foam insulation and a vapor barrier in back of the siding. Half the siding crew stopped, got the needed materials, and did the job right. Wow! The icing on the cake? On November 10 we had a bad storm come through and we were concerned about hail/storm damage. I contacted Eldridge right away and Chris, our contact person at Eldridge, came out right away and went over the entire house and the house was fine with just a couple of minor dents in the gutters on the west side of the house.
