I had my 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son attending there for six months. They claimed they would have my daughter do her homework there before she was allowed to play. She merely told them she forgot her homework for nearly everyday whilst it was sitting in her backpack and apparently that was good enough. They let her just play everyday during her time in their after school program and didn't even care to discuss with us that she NEVER had her homework. She was helped with no homework and taught nothing. We pulled her out so we would enough time to do her homework with her cause they wouldn't. Then we have my 3 year old son whom was downgraded to half days because they couldn't manage to get him under control. Their idea of a time out is apparently having the child follow a teacher around till they miraculously act right. I guess no one told them a time out was a deprivation of stimulation and not a teacher student one on one field trip. Repeated one on one attention for a misbehaving child is rewarding their behavior with additional attention and reinforcing the behavior rather than removing stimuli to allow the child to reflect and self correct. Moreover, changing him to half days as an answer to the behavior THEY reinforced was only further reward to reinforce his misbehaviour. Not to mention half days are still FULL price. During my last conversation with them Felicia suggested the pharmaceutical intervention in the form of a compound consisting of four different amphetamines by the name of adderall as a step in the right direction for my 3 year old son whom they failed miserably at even watching during the day let alone teaching him anything. Thanks for exacerbating my toddlers negative behavior high achievers.

When I found out about Pasadena Learning center I was so happy and grateful because number one the location, it being so close to our home and her school, and most importantly how even though they are technically located in Pasadena they are still able to pick up from Patterson. But more importantly then the location and convenience to my needs, the very first time I met Ms. Nancy, one of the owners, she instantly gave me this warm feeling and I just knew my daughter was going to be in safe and caring hands. My daughter started there when she was 3 yrs old and she is now going on 6 yrs old, I love having her there and appreciate all of them for their hard work and dedication to her and all of the kids there. I'm sure it's not easy managing taking care of multiple kids, so I commend them all for this. Though they have many kids they look after, if any time there has been an incident or concern with my daughter, they make sure to call me and keep me informed and aware of anything big or small. I love this place for my daughter, I even referred my sister for her child and now my sister has had her daughter enrolled, so I would definitely recommend this place!

My son started attending cream of the crop learning center in late September of 2020. I was…read moreparticularly interested because of a few reasons first was they were a Christian based learning center, second they were close to my home. On his first day I was never introduced to his teacher or ever seen his classroom.In the morning you drive up and an employee there gets the child out the car and takes him inside then when picking up we call when on the way they get the child ready and you meet them at the door and you put your child in the car. The ladies doing the drop off and pick ups are not the teachers in order to find out who his teacher was I had to ask one of them they just said her name and what she looked like. When he started he was a little over 18 months old so he was in the roo class and was sent him with a "cuddle gram" basically a paper saying what he ate and how many diaper changes he had as well as his nap time. Breakfast was always Cheerios & snacks were always crackers not at all fulfilling the only meal fulfilling was lunch which was usually chicken gravy a fruit and veggie or something similar and on fridays the parent brings the child's lunch. His first 3 days he cried as expected for his first time ever attending daycare as the time went on it got better he stopped crying at drop off and was excited to be picked up he would run to me smiling and with open arms at pick up time. If there was ever an incident they would provide a paper saying what happened and you sign it while he was in the roo class that happened a few times not a whole bunch then comes when he moved classes to Disney class 2 year olds and with teacher Haley Farmer who again I had to ask to meet and ask how the day was structured. In her class there was 9 kids including him however in previous class there was 5 with Ms.Gina and Haley was giving me incident reports every week sometimes multiple times a week of him being bit, or hit with a toy sometimes I would just see bite marks but not even be informed of them I complained and sent her a message she said she would look into it. Then he was hit so hard on his face with a toy it left a Mark for days I complained, he came up with a soaking wet pamper I complained, two times he was not cleaned right after changing his diaper and I also complained I started asking more questions then on a Wednesday Lydia the director calls me and says he has had behavioral problems and he bit the teacher and I had no clue ! I messaged the teacher apologizing saying I would work with him and she never replied to me but before she always would so that was strange. all this was news to me because every or most incidents prior to this he was the one being bullied not the aggressor but now she says it is him. Then Lydia calls me at 11:13 a Thursday and says he has to be picked up they can no longer care for him she said he pulled a kids hair, chocked him, and head bunted him and says she has a video of it and I ask to see if the video and she never provided it to me said she had to get owners approval I still have yet to see the video. When I arrived to pick him up he was not in the office like she claimed she was actually napping and he was awoken from his nap to be sent home.I believe they kicked him out because I was complaining too much and I've transferred him to another daycare "Star Montessori" and his teacher said he hasn't been aggressive at all just hyper I don't claim he's an angel I know he throws tantrums but he's 2 and learning he doesn't bite or hit at home so that was far fetched to me. My husband kept urging me to change hum to another because along with all this since he was moved to another class he cried everyday at drop off and would be starving when he was picked up. I had to have a snack for him as soon as I got him in the car because he would be asking over and over for "snack" or "milk" I truly believe they didn't feed him or the children enough and not at all once while he was there did he come up with any type of biblical art work or teachings it was a lot of coloring and painting but they claim to be faith based but that is just a front in my opinion and I personally see this as a blessing and if it was meant for him to attend there he would still but God knows what's best for me and my family so I glorify him in it all it probably saved my son a lot of pain and suffering. If they can not keep supervision of 5-9 kids in a classroom biting my child hitting him or him scraping his finger then they need to re- evaluate their staff because that is just poorly done.

I am finally able to share my experience with The Learning Experience in League City regarding what…read morehappened to my daughter on March 11, 2025. My daughter was injured while in the care of the daycare. Mr. Ethan was the teacher with her at the time she broke her arm. According to what we were told by Mr. Ethan, he knew she was crying and told us that he knew her arm was not broken and that she was "just crying." He did not call me, notify me that she had been injured, or complete an accident report. When I arrived, my daughter was sitting outside crying. As her teacher, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of care, concern, and compassion shown toward my child. The following morning, I spoke with Lauren, the Director, and Trin, the Enrollment Specialist. Neither of them had any knowledge that my daughter had been injured. Even after I informed them, no accident report was provided to me. My daughter continued to complain of severe arm pain and continued crying, so I took her to the emergency room that same day. Her arm was, in fact, broken. Even after I notified the daycare of the diagnosis, an accident report still was not provided to me at that time. An accident report was eventually completed on March 14 and brought to my husband's place of employment for him to sign. Throughout this entire situation, the owner never contacted me to check on my daughter, ask what happened, or offer an apology. My daughter never returned to this daycare. What also concerned me was how the situation was handled when another child's grandmother began asking questions about what had happened to my daughter. Rather than openly addressing the situation, the grandmother was asked to stop discussing it at the daycare, and the parent was subsequently spoken to about the grandmother's questions. I trusted this daycare with my child, and that trust was broken. Parents trust childcare centers with the most important people in their lives. They deserve to know when their child is hurt, to be contacted promptly, and to receive accurate documentation about what happened. I am sharing this review now because I was involved in a legal case concerning my daughter's injury and did not know whether I was permitted to publicly discuss my experience. I have since been advised that I can share my honest experience. This is my firsthand experience, and I believe parents considering The Learning Experience in League City deserve to know what happened to my daughter while she was in their care. Please ask questions and do your own research before entrusting your child to this facility.

Best center ever! The director Sharmilla and the assistant director Cynthia are so welcoming and…read moreaccommodating. They are so easy to talk to and have answers for any question you have. This center has some of the best teachers, they make your kids feel so welcomed. Another thing i love about this center is how active they are in their community; they are always keeping parents informed on monthly menus, newsletters, and calendars. They plan alot of group events and dress up days, that make things so much more fun for the kids. I could go on and on but seriously i love this center.
