Dirty, smelly,…read moreunorganized,... staff goes through the steps ...bringing food trays, water, etc, but out of reach of amputee residents. Bed sores apparently are encouraged here. Two weeks is all it takes to watch your loved one decline from social, mobile, pristine skin, to non responsive full of bed sores, matted hair, with no communication to family, next of kin. Clothes stolen within first week. DIRTY! SMELLY! Things horror shows are made of. If I allowed this to occur to a person in my home, It would be elder abuse, with charges levied and jail time!

I really loved the residents and I was a great dietary Manager and Gilbert is amazing! Kiara needs more training on how to talk to her management team this is why the turn over is so bad. I tried to get along with her but she's never satisfied with her managers. Nursing care really needs to be looked into Ariel Sanders is one of them he mistreated and he's always in the no interaction he only gets up when the social complains. This company needs to be aware on what's really really going on look at your numbers this is why this building will never ever get to 57. Sometimes a people change will make a huge difference with summit and at Greenbrier. Thankyou for listening and I thought yall should know the real truth.

Hygia is someone I would definetly not do business with again. By the way, they were recommended by Arlington Memorial Hospital.

After looking at their reviews and speaking with them about my mom's insurance, which they confirmed they accepted, they were selected. Things started off smoothly and we started getting the assessments done and were making arrangements for continued care when we hit a snag. My mom had to be re-admitted to the hospital and so that meant being released from home health. Ok, no problem. So when she was ready to home, she should have been re-admitted. The hospital contacted them, which is the process, but the agency never advised us they had a change of policy and no longer accepted her insurance. The lack of communication, professionalism and courtesy was unacceptable. I had to call them to get a firm answer on the change. We found another agency but for anyone who knows, it is beyond time consuming to have to do a change like this because it means everyone, PT/OT/ST all change and that means additional assessments and time to get it all done. That is time wasted from the patient getting care. They got an earful from me and now I am finally sharing this review.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have no idea how they have such high ratings (unless…read morethe staff is urged to rate the company themselves), but I reached out to My Nurse Family to care for my 80 year old father who needs assistance once a week because of their five star reviews. We never had a consistent caregiver. The most consistency we received was the same caregiver two weeks in a row. The caregivers were also about a half hour late each week or they would no-call, no-show. There were two occasions when the caregiver's supervisors came to our house to provide the caregivers with their uniform. These administrative tasks should have been taken care of prior to sending someone to meet a client. It's disruptive and unprofessional. I also question their hiring process because some of these caregivers said they never had an in-person interview. I spoke with a supervisor whose nonchalant attitude disturbed me. She blamed my father for the situation because she said his shifts are too short (3 hours/1 time per week). If My Nurse Family cannot provide that, then they shouldn't offer those hours to clients as an option. Fortunately, my father lives in my garage apartment so he has me to look after him, but I shudder to think of other elderly people who rely on My Nurse Family for care without the benefit of others to protect their interests. My father does not use the internet. He cannot easily find another agency to care for him. Elderly people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. This is not dignified nor is it respectful. Do your loved ones a favor and keep them away from this incompetent agency. Edit: I did speak with the owner and appreciate his effort to try to resolve this matter. We were not able to come to an agreement which resulted in my continuing services with My Nurse Family. However, he did offer to refund our money, which I did not ask him to do. I told him that I planned to keep the review up regardless of a refund because I feel as though the serious nature of caregiving requires full disclosure. He said he would refund the money regardless and I did receive a check in the mail today for the full amount of services. For the sake of patients and their families, I sincerely hope our experience was a fluke. Perhaps this will improve services moving forward.
