Communication with Rachael via email/phone was excellent in clarifying few additional minor details and arranging the installation date, forwarding insurance details and building regulation documents etc. Bernard & Neil work well together and at amazing speed. We were pleasantly surprised by his keen eye for details - Neil ensured window frames were fully secure, applied foam insulation around & made good for a quality finish. Inspire Windows Team provide honest and excellent professional services. Our home has been transformed by REHAU Planitherm quality windows, expertly fitted and with excellent finish. I decided to order all new replacement windows and doors for my 2 bedroom semi, as the ones I had…read morebefore were over 30 years old and were completely useless for keeping out the cold. As the weather started to change at the beginning of November, I made an appointment for a sales person to visit, and show me a demonstration of the types of windows I could have here. I had done some initial research to find a local company who I thought would be cheaper and quicker in installing the replacements, and after reading a few good reviews on Inspire Windows, I decided to chose them. I have to say, I was surprised at the lack of pushy sales talk that you would normally associate with double glazing salesman, and the range of advice I was given on how to chose double glazing windows. It took me a while to select which ones I wanted (as there was quite a range to choose from) but I was so impressed with the quote given, that I decided to book my windows there and then. Shortly after ordering, the fitters arrived at 8:00am prompt (as pre-arranged), and set about sheeting up the entire house. They completed the job the same day, with no mess or fuss. They even fitted new window sills as my others were a bit scratched and worn. I wasn't charged any extra for this. When they'd finished, I noticed that the work had been done to a very high standard. My new windows looked amazing. The workmen left no mess behind, and were very pleasant throughout the fitting. I didn't even need to touch up the decorating around the sills as I had been expecting. You cant see any damage to the paintwork or paper where the new windows had been fitted, and I was especially pleased with this. I was also given full instructions on how to use the new lock features on my windows and doors, along with a 10 year warranty should anything go wrong with them. I was delighted with the service. Now, the amount of time I have to put my heating on has massively reduced, and the house retains the heat for longer. I feel toasty warm and comfortable all day long. Not only do my new windows keep my house lovely and warm, but they also improve the aesthetic look of my house, which I hadn't been expecting. This is particularly useful as I'm hoping to sell up and move next year. I'd have no problem recommending Inspire Windows to fit windows and doors as they did a great service for me.

We had a lantern and a set of sliding doors installed at our property in Henley in April this year…read more The job itself was quite good, all completed in a week, with good communication. However, upon completion of the work we realised the installers had damaged our natural oak floor during installation. We raised this with WindowWorx who sent their General Manager to take a look. He verbally accepted liability and followed this up with an email, again, accepting liability. WindowWorx went ahead and got a quote for the repair work which was £2,500. Following this, the owner of the business asked to come and have a look himself, so we welcomed him in. He immediately started talking about getting the insurance companies involved to figure out whose liability it was, which was odd, as we'd already established this. Needless to say their insurance company sided with their client. They fabricated a story about us damaging the floor ourselves, with no evidence whatsoever. They carried out zero due diligence, they didn't even visit the property, they just palmed us off. We have evidence by way of photographs that the floor was undamaged before they carried out the work, and damaged once completed. We took legal action against WindowWorx (this is their trading name, the limited company is actually First Direct (Kingston) Ltd) at significant cost to us, but again, we were palmed off with the same letter we'd received weeks prior from the insurance company. It was simply too expensive to continue perusing the matter in the courts, so we just had to walk away with a massive loss and a damaged floor. These people are not kind, they're not honest - they are deceitful and they lie. I would avoid them at all cost.

I am delighted with the windows provided and fitted by WindowWorx. There was no hard sell - rather…read morea team of people who listened to what I wanted, and gave clear and sensible advice. The cost was extremely reasonable compared to others, and there were no hidden extras. The finished product is excellent and I have received positive comments from neighbours and visitors alike.

Unacceptable Customer Service from Stormclad In May 2023, I…read morehad Stormclad install a new front door for my home. While the door installation itself was satisfactory, I have encountered a major issue with the lock that has led to an extremely poor customer service experience. Approximately two months ago, in January 2024, the lock on the newly installed door stopped functioning properly. I promptly contacted Stormclad to report the issue and request service. Despite multiple attempts to reach them via phone and email over the past 10 weeks, the company has failed to respond or acknowledge my requests for assistance. The lack of any response from Stormclad regarding a defective lock on their recently installed product is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect a reasonable level of after-sales service and support, which they have failed to provide. While I have had a few relatively minor issues resolved satisfactorily with Stormclad in the past for previous door/window installations, their complete absence of any communication or customer service in this case is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I am currently escalating this case through other channels, but I wanted to make Stormclad directly aware that this level of indifferent response to a product issue is detrimental to their reputation and will factor into my decision on whether to recommend or utilize their services again in the future. Please respond promptly with a proposed resolution for having the lock repaired or replaced. A 10 week period of complete unresponsiveness is unacceptable for an issue impacting the basic security and functionality of my home's entrance.

Deposit lost Signed…read morea contract for a conservatory in December and paid a £2900 deposit. We were advised no planning permission was required. Following a survey it was discovered planning was needed and we were asked to pay another £500 for planning costs. The planning application came back in March with conditions attached. We didn't like the changes enforced as this wasn't what we agreed to when signing the contract so asked to cancel the contract. We were told we are only entitled to a £565.60 refund as the company have incurred sales, marketing and administration costs. We have lost £2834.40 through no fault of our own. We cannot have the specification we paid for and we cannot get our deposit back either. No materials have been ordered and we paid extra for the planning application. Had we have know this was the risk we were entering into when signing the contract we would never have paid over our deposit.
