Having never worked with a staffing agency before, I was slightly hesitant about the idea of it. Although the office was quite busy upon my arrival, with several candidates awaiting their interviews, their staff remained calm, warm, and professional. I went to Exact Staff in Woodland Hills about six months ago and sat down with Liz at the interview table for a clerical/office/admin assistant position. This was my first experience with a staffing agency. Liz was courteous, professional, respectful, and demonstrated a sense of caring that made me feel welcome and valued. I was also made to feel unique and that my experience, skills, and talents are desired in the workforce. Moreover, whenever I wanted to get a hold of Liz for any reason, either via telephone or email, she would invariably respond in a timely manner. I really appreciated this and always had that feeling that "she got my back." After orientation and background check, I secured a temp. position immediately to work at a great company close to home. Six months later, I was hired by said company and am a permanent employee working full-time. Asked for Exact Staff's help just last Thursday 11/29/2018 as I need a temp assistant to fill in my assistant's position while she's in a family emergency leave. By Friday, they sent me 2 people to interview. It didn't work out but I called them right after and I explained a little more in detail what I wanted and by today, Monday 12/3/2018, they sent me one person to interview and I hired her on the spot! I applied for an account management position months ago. They asked me to come in to interview and as it turns out there was no actual position available. They had me in office go through pages and pages of application, i9, references, etc etc before they even interviewed me. They are simply filling their "roladex" in case they have a position come up. The poorly trained and educated man who I reviewed me took a million calls and wasn't focused. Since then I get call after call from them offering me warehouse jobs for minimum wage. Don't waste your time with this agency. Pick a reputable one or really in this job market skip the agencies all together. read more

So at first I was skeptical about going to an agency to get a job, but then I run into this place. I called immediately after losing my old job. It was so fast to help that within a day or 2 I got a call and had an interview with a sweet lady Aleesa at your main office. Such an extraordinary review left before sadly must end badly. The job I acquired was so poorly managed I had to leave due to stress causing my face to go numb a la stroke. Upon returning to Exact Staff and reporting this as well as providing the job analysis and other work I had done for free for the business, I was relegated to lower paying jobs than I told them I wanted and treated like a specialty case who could not handle stress when my employer was actually ecstatic and thankful for my work: "I wish I had 10 Cameron's".
