I've never had a problem even when I broke my glasses. They were quick to offer a repair without charge. I have to have a special more expensive lens due to being near-sided. I get the glare prevention overcoat for an extra $120 and it makes a difference. Also the glare coating comes with a two year guarantee to replace lens if scratched!! I would recommend this store to everyone. I've tried the advertised cheap and quick glasses stores and even Walmart. Lakeland Optical is hands down the best even if the price of frames is higher.

When I replied with Tharp Family Eye Care, he went on and on about how good the Doctors Tharp are. He said he never has people return glasses due to an incorrect prescription, and said that was not something he could say about all Optometrists. I did a few walk-in appointments and waited for quite a while, but with an appointment it's much faster. The staff are friendly and some have been there the whole 20 years I've been going. They are never pushy about selling contacts and will help you with rebates whether or not you order through them. I highly recommend Tharp Family Eye Care!

Walked in (masked up & onion glasses on). Saw a pair I liked and asked did they come in any other color. The young lady who worked there, first asked did I have a script. I said, "Yes, on my phone." She says, "Well, we kinda need you to print it out, first." In my mind "Before what? Looking at frames?" I said, "When I am ready to finalize my frame purchase, I'm more than happy to print it out then." I asked, again, about alternate colors. She said, "Well, when you bring back your printed script, I can look for alternate colors." Wait, what? Let me get this straight, instead of OFFERING to email/air print it, you want me to go somewhere to print this out, THEN you'll look up whether alternate colors are offered on some frames? I get it. I didn't have a PRINTED script, but that does not stop a person from looking for alternate frame colors. I will be taking my effort, $$ and business, elsewhere. I need businesses to do better. This was a customer service FAIL and lost business because I am READY and NEED to purchase new frames (like two months ago.. I keep gorilla glue on me with my current frames.. don't ask).
