When I replied with Tharp Family Eye Care, he went on and on about how good the Doctors Tharp are. He said he never has people return glasses due to an incorrect prescription, and said that was not something he could say about all Optometrists. I did a few walk-in appointments and waited for quite a while, but with an appointment it's much faster. The staff are friendly and some have been there the whole 20 years I've been going. I asked for a sample box from their Optical Boutique and showed them the paperwork from the Dr. I was told I had to buy a full box before I could get a sample. I was willing to take one contact lens....one. Once again I was told I had to buy a box for either myself or someone else, but had to purchase a box before they would give me a sample. Absolutely ridiculous. By the way, they quoted my mom over $600 for a nice pair of glasses. I got the same pair for over $200 less online. I am willing to pay for service, but over $200??
