Quick and easy. Price advertised on their website is out of date. It is now $15 for mens cut. I parked on the street as I wasn't too sure where they were. Came in, sat down on the left side of the building (they have two areas) and waited my turn. Told her what I wanted and she got straight to work. I don't really care too much about my haircuts so I give different places a try. She didn't miss any hairs and got it with a 3 on the sides and shortened the top. I'll come back when I'm near the area! Another pro is they disinfect the seat after each person still in 2023. Not sure if they clean their clippers after every use though. read more

I came here for a haircut in an attempt to find a place that is both affordable and offers a good quality cut. The man who cut my hair was pretty old school, doing some gentle fade work with the razor, and then using a stepping stool to see how to blend / cut with scissors. He was very patient and clearly takes pride in his work. Like I said it was very old school, so you are not likely to get a skin fade here, maybe a 0.5 at the lowest. Give them a try ! read more

You are so courteous, friendly and did a very thorough job of the one length cut I wanted. You took care to cut my hair layer by layer, then blow dried it with that special curling brush. This looks like a house converted into a business, and there's a small unlit parking lot in the back. I would've gotten the shady vibes if it weren't for reading all the reviews saying how awesome this place is. The inside is small with only three hair cutting stations and no chairs for people waiting. Fortunately when I came by, there was no wait. The Vietnamese lady cutting my hair didn't speak much English, but she understood what I wanted and executed it well. She was meticulous in taking the time needed to give me a good fade and make things look even. However, two complaints. First, with one of the clipper attachments she was using, the clippers were pulling my hair a LOT. Second, when I got home I noticed that my sideburns were noticeably uneven (the only meticulousness fail), but nothing that my trimmer at home couldn't fix. The cost came out to a reasonable $10, which I paid with a credit card. The owner (Maria) who was ringing me up was nice but requested that I bring cash next time. I understand that merchant fees suck, but that's one reason why I tip generously. Accepting credit cards but discouraging customers from using them is tacky; a better method is to offer incentives for paying in cash. All in all, I got a haircut that I'm pretty happy with, without breaking the bank. Despite the minor fails, I would definitely come back. read more

I had a very good experience here just today. I made the mistake of coming in even while knowing I had to be somewhere else soon. I ended up rushing the barber a bit, but my hair still came out great. She is someone who pays a lot of attention to detail, and it makes me wonder if the great cut would have been even better had I not rushed her towards the end. I looked through Yelp to find a good place for my boyfriend to get a haircut, we tried another place and let's just say they've never heard of customer service!!! So I wasn't expecting much of this place either but we were happily surprised! It was fast and they did a great job! We showed them a picture of the style we were looking for and she said ok and delivered exactly what we showed her. In all honesty, at first I was like "oh no" because she just started cutting off hair like crazy and it looked super uneven but once it was short enough she started to cut in the style we asked her and it turned out great! So i called to make an appointment then i was told no one there cuts women's hair. The website offers womens haircuts. I guess you have to come on the right day or the right time maybe? Or maybe you should just come back another day if she has an especially attention starved client when you walk in... I don't know what the issue is. I asked for help growing my hair out and she cut it even shorter than the first time. She didn't trim the front to any style iether, just buzzed and told me I had a wrong shaped head when I pointed out how the hair still obviously stuck out in the back. And I don't know why she buzzed my bangs. Why would you ever buzz a woman's bangs? No no no, you gotta style those, and have them blended. It's like she was refusing to use half her haircutting tools, like her eyes and scissors. No, I guess I don't have a perfectly shaped head, is that really an excuse? I thought most people's heads aren't perfect. And when it was time to pay, she was already putting away the change as a tip, before I said anything. This is unfortunate. I had high hopes after my first visit. But this time was the opposite of helpful for growing my hair out. Funny how something can help one time, can hurt another. Maybe because the first time was on Wednesday and this time it was a Monday? I don't know. So I guess if you have a perfectly shaped head that can be cut blindly with a trimmer, than it's a good spot. For me, despite the low prices, this is crazy expensive for the result. I'm still suffering and cutting hairs she ignored myself, trying to shape it right and blend in the hairs sticking out, but often times cutting shorter than a professional would.. This isn't fun. But I'm a student, so I don't really other options at the moment. I can't afford to pay for 2 hair cuts. For my next haircut, I hope to find someone else, who knows how to use scissors. read more

I decided to take my maid of honor (my sister) to get a manicure a few hours before my engagement party, to celebrate the fact that we had finally finished planning everything. I happened to get a coupon in the mail for this place for an $8 manicure, so I decided to try it out. Even though it was Saturday afternoon, they took both of us right away. They only had one manicurist on staff that day, but she was extremely nice and very friendly and was chatting with me and my sister. She did an excellent job and now, 4 days later, my french manicure still looks fresh. While we were there, her brother (he cuts hair in the salon) came over and gave me and my sister additional coupons. We didn't need them though, since I believe $8 is the standard price they charge for a manicure. So $8 for my sister and $10 for my french manicure. She did such a great job on our nails that I gave her a $10 tip and made an appointment for a pedicure for me and my fiance for the next day! * * * Came back the next day with my fiance and they had two manicurists to do our pedicures at the same time. I had the same lady from the day before and she took extra time painting my toes. She didn't just slap the nailpolish on like they do at most other places. The other lady took her time massaging my fiances legs and feet which is the whole reason guys get pedicures in the first place. I really liked the cool mint mask they put on my legs and feet and the hot towel wrap, I had never had either of those before. I highly recommend this place, you can't beat a $15 pedicure! read more

I really wanted to get a haircut the other day and had tried and failed to go to 3 other places were supposedly opened and welcoming to walk-in guests on Sunday -- I was about ready to give up when I decided to try Exact Cuts - the owner Maria was friendly and very welcoming on the phone. She told me to come right away. Maria herself ended being busy when I got there and so another hairdresser was assigned to me. She spent a good hour or so carefully snipping away my hair as I had requested. It's a really no frills experience (no wash or massage, or special hair creams). She did a pretty decent job with just pair of scissors and a spray bottle of water. Haircut ended up being only $15! The only slight con was that they really did not expect a younger girl with long hair....I think most of their clients are men or older women with short hair. They were a little surprised to see me when I came in... Regardless, I would definitely recommend to others. read more

As with the other reviewers, I have been visiting Tom and Maria for a few years. Maria typically cuts my hair and we've reached a point where she knows what I want without much input from me. For the new initiates: She is good at taking directions and didn't disappoint from the first haircut on. I do have to recommend that you opt for the shampoo service after a haircut. It's about $3 more and you get a quick head massage while she works the shampoo in. The total time for the service is maybe 5 minutes, but it's well worth the $3. You feel refreshed and she really gets all of those little hairs off of your scalp so you can go do other things without shedding all over the place. Some days can be quite busy, but there are usually at least two people working. Note: I've only had haircuts from Tom and Maria and the majority have been with Maria. I cannot comment on the quality of the other hair stylists. If you find Tom to be your favorite, he only works Monday through Friday. Maria is there seven days a week (which often includes holidays). read more
