Be leery when a person asks you to pay for a service before you have received it. 2. The man at the front desk suggested I upgrade to a more expensive massage. I declined and went with the basics, as this was my first time. 3. The receptionist led me to the room where I'd be getting my massage. The "relaxing" music was clearly from a streaming service, as I noticed a cell phone hooked to a speaker on the floor. 4. The room had an odd aroma and the carpet was soiled and a bit worn. When I looked at the massage table I noticed a peculiar covering over where a face pillow was intended to be. I asked myself, "is that a paper towel?!" Yes, indeed it was- see attached photo! 5. The massage therapists must have been on their lunch break as they were in the next room talking loudly and it seemed as if they were arguing! This made me tense and made for an unpleasant experience as the arguing continued for the duration of my massage. 6. No one told me that the massage therapist would be physically on top of me. There was no warning just a woman literally crawling on top of my body- this made me very uncomfortable as I just had a baby and am still a bit sensitive! On top of that she encouraged me to get a longer massage next time so she could do more for me- the constant encouragement to spend more money is discouraging. 7. Once the massage commenced, I got dressed and proceeded to the front. There the massage therapist was standing and asked, "Aren't you going to leave me a tip?! I need a tip!" Begrudgingly, I gave her a tip that she examined, sucked her teeth and walked away! I will NOT return to this location. I'd rather pay extra or drive a longer distance than to waste my money here. NEVER AGAIN!

To start off, I didn't even make it to the massage, so I do not know how the actual services are. I…read morehad tried to schedule an appointment a month ago for both my mother and I as a mother-daughter excursion before she had to leave the state; we got a Groupon. However, we came to find out that the address was wrong on the Groupon's initial page. We had waited outside some stranger's house for 10-15 minutes (well past our appointment time) before finally managing to get in touch with someone only to find out that the massage therapist had been stuck out of town on a rotator flight. I tried to schedule a new appointment sometime later; this time, I went through an app link that was provided to me through text message. When I made it to the appointment's actual location, I waited outside of the locked office for 15 minutes again before finally giving up and heading home. During that time, I had tried contacting Orchid Wellness about my appointment, and they did not get back to me until AFTER 15 minutes past my appointment time AND after I had already contacted Groupon and complained about the unreliability of not only being able to get into contact with the organization. While I do understand having issues with flights and flooded living rooms, I do not appreciate learning that my appointment was cancelled after I had already arrived at the location and waited for over ten minutes. A courtesy call would have been nice so I didn't have to waste my day. I do not recommend scheduling an appointment with this company. They should have at least contacted me as soon as there were problems and tried rescheduling with me instead of waiting until my appointment time to tell me that they won't be showing up!
