Really nice place in the heart of Siegen Oberstadt (upper town). Service always has a smile for…read moreyou, nice quiet music to relax to. Simple, but nice funituring. Large windows to look outside or some decent places to sit outside. Although there is a lively street right across the place, it is cozy and relaxing to sit there - one of the best places to chill in the upper town. The pastries are self-made and superb (try american cookie cheese cake!) Side note: They also have vegan cakes! I do not recommend the choose-your-own breakfast, as it is a little hard to place all small dishes of orders on the kind of small tables. Doesnt feel good. Instead, go for one of the Bagles, which are great. Maybe get a fresh mint-ginger tea or a freshly-pressed orange juice. The coffee is rock-solid, too. So many ways to pimp your breakfast. When you are hungry, the Flocke also offers a small menu which changes daily. Mostly fresh an self-made soups, sometimes spaetzle... I wouldnt go there for dinner, since it isnt really a restaurant, but the dishes they have are tasty as if. My favourite place. When in Siegen: Go visit the Flocke.
