This shopping center is MASSIVE!…read more Admittedly, I have become a town snob with age. Rarely do I venture outside the "Honolulu" district (Hawaii Kai to Salt Lake is my radius ring) unless a special occasion calls for it. I blame gas prices but really, it's laziness. What brought me out to the 96707 was a new store that popped up just a hop away. Plus I've heard great things about KMA. So why not kill two birds with one stone? I love the array of shops and restaurants! Kapolei in general is bustling with so many shopping centers, you can make a day out of it! I grabbed a shirt from Spencer's, fashion jewelry at Lovisa, and even checked out the movies that day. Will check this place out again with my husband and young boys. There's a bubble play area and a big grassy lawn for active kids. Part two to be continued!

This is the shopping center located on Fort Weaver/Geiger Road intersection. It is on the West…read moreside of Fort Weaver. There is an entrance/exit on Fort Weaver, and one on Geiger Road. This is the shopping center with notable names such as Genki Sushi, Foodland, Longs. The Foodland Gas Station is located here as well. 91-1401 Fort Weaver Road is the address. I know this because there are two Longs' on Fort Weaver Road, so when you need to fill your prescription, you need to distinguish which Longs you want it to go to. There is a shared parking lot for all of the stores on this strip mall. During busy hours, the lot really fills up around Foodland side. During dinner time, the lot fills up near the restaurants. (Duh! I realize I'm being "Captain Obvious" after having typed that out.) If you want to just park and don't care how much you have to walk, and not have to stress about circling the lot looking for parking, just park by Longs side of the mall. That's my go-to spot to park. This mall is super convenient due to its location and the fact they have Longs and Foodland here (two of the stores I frequent very regularly). You can often "kill two birds with one stone", shop at the two locations with one stop. Be careful here if you have a lowered/dropped car. There are speedbumps on the Longs/Foodland side of the mall. If you need to avoid them, stay on the Genki side of the parking lot. During the busy times, there are lots of cars and lots of traffic in this mall. Due to the size of the lot and the amount of cars, it can be a little heartrate-rising when you enter the lot to look for parking and when you're trying to leave. The layout makes the flow kind of slow with people pulling in and out of stalls, and when you're in the middle part of the lot having to get to one of the main thoroughfares to get to the exit, you just have to hope someone's nice enough to let you in.

The OG place for services like Blend House, Jackson Hewitt or your dentist appointment though I came here for some Taste Tea and and a bite at Frida's but today was to drop off a bag of donation at the Green Drop bin and have recent found out there's a name for this tiny shopping center. With lots of free parking it's a great place for it all and can see why many locals do stop here and is easily found with KFC prominently holds the spot at the corner making it easy to find. Weather you're here to stock up at shop for your groceries at Foodland or take care of your cravings at Domino's, Gina's, L&L, Coco Ichiban, Hawai'i Pot Shabu Shabu, Ninja Sushi, Paco's Tacos, Ramen Bones, Pho Kapolei, and other services available here or what I came for tea...Yi Fang as I do love tea and have chargers at each seating giving me a chance to recharge. There's lots of shared free parking which makes it easy to park and enjoy whatever you're here for as I found myself enjoying the quiet vibe here regardless the bustling amount of cars that constantly come and go you can literally eat, shop and even get some deals with KVC Discount Card. Whenever I try to redeem the discount or a promo, the store treats me like I'm a criminal. Here's a few examples: The Foodland offer: free reusable bag with any $50 or more purchase. I thought this was a great promo, get some grocery shopping done, get a free bag. Win-win. NOT! Some of the workers have no clue about the promo, others say it's only good on the weekends and yet another said the promo expired. Foodland get your act together. I'm spending my money @ your establishment, isn't that a good thing??? (The promo doesn't say weekends only, and the promo is still posted on the KVC site with NO mention of an Expiration Date) L&L offer: 10% of your purchase. When I arrived at the restaurant I showed the cashier the promo ahead of time just in case they weren't gonna honor it, I would eat elsewhere...she looks at it. Asks what is that? Omg really? It's a promo your landlord is offering and you have no idea about it??? She takes my phone and goes to the back kitchen to talk to some guy and asks him about it. The guy says yeah they can accept that. 10% off isn't a real big deal, but I'm helping this establishment by eating there. Smh. So again, the discount program is a joke since the tenants are so resistant to honoring it. I don't understand why? If this brings in the traffic, why not honor it? Instead you make your customers feel like criminals or maybe even worse than that. I grew up shopping @ the Market City Foodland and L&L Hawn BBQ has always been my go-to local plate lunch place so I was elated to see these two tenants here in kapolei, expecting the same great friendly service...boy was I wrong! Love the easy access right off the freeway when I come from town along with entering is easy regardless which direction you're coming from and what I do love more is that whatever the reason that brings me to Kapolei chances are I stop here to either pick up lunch/dinner, pick up something at Safeway, fill up gas or even drop off donations or my recyclables...yup they have it all here. Many places have come and gone which I was sad to see my favorite craft store closing though it's nice to see that it gets filled up with newbies like Shimazu Shave Ice, 85o Bakery along with hand full of restaurants and various serves all are found where with lots of free parking makes it a great place to gather for whatever your needs. So far, I have been here twice recently for the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union. In the past, I was at Sushi Bay... a very popular eatery. I know that there's a Safeway... and I saw some fast food restaurants across the parking lot... and Hele Gas Station! That's good to know! Longs will be useful to me in the future... and maybe 85°C Bakery and Mamaya. I'll be back!

While I do like going to the mall management and its security are running the operations poorly…read more You can't find security anywhere at night. No phone numbers posted in prime areas. The monorail has been out of service for so long it makes getting around difficult. Basically the whole idea went down hill. Elevator and escalators are always out of service making it difficult for seniors and disabled people to gain access. A law suit should be addressed for NOT being ADA compliant. In certain area maintenance of debris and leaves and yard waste does not get picked up often enough. Parking lot strips are so faded the markings are hard to see. Lights are not working and visible in some areas. Management needs to be more active and walking the grounds instead of being in the office all day long. Security needs to be out and about roaming and visible more often. Not just watching a camera.

Shopping around…read more.. The numerous of times I've come here and it's not for the same business as the amount of space that's home to the various types of shops found here is impressive. I do love coming to The Boba Room for my fix, Savers to donate and thrift shop, Chris Peanut Shop II for snacks or many services and restaurants folks do come here for that and so much more. With lots of free parking provided by the shopping center it's a great spot that has several entrance depending on the direction you're coming from, it makes it so easy to shop and support local.
