The negative reviews are so inaccurate. There's truly no match for this spa, seriously. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could! This review is long overdue. I needed an extra laser hair removal treatment several years after I had this procedure done at a Medical Esthetics Clinic. I chose Evropa based on good Google reviews and proximity to my home. When I got there, I instantly felt uncomfortable because it was very different from my previous experience. I thought it would look more like a professional clinic but it looked like a Mom-and-Pop shop. The place was cluttered but clean. The esthetician was a bit aggressive when they shaved missed areas and coerced me into treating an area I did not want because it was "included" in the price. They also used Lidocaine which appeared to come from someone's prescription since it had pharmacy labels on the container. If you don't mind getting lasered at any old place, then I would say go for it but I personally would not go back. After complaining last time I got hurt when they helped me shaving some hair I missed when shaving myself, The phone is never got answered then...... They are not even feel sorry for hurting me and instead blaming me! They are really rude and also they don't care about clients' privacy. when the hair removal treatment is going on, they just suddenly open the door. AND I NEVER ASK FOR ANY FREE SERVICE. When i got hurt in my second session, three elder ladies kept washing my brain(I am pretty sure you know what i mean, it's like your old aunties kept saying it was your fault) and blaming i hurt my self but I realized it was the technician hurt me. I was really busy that time so i just let it go. Because the studio is close to my company so i still decided to go to this place. When I mentioned it in my third time booking call, they become really rude and kept saying it was my fault. ALL I ask is a SINCERE APOLOGY and wanted to change a technician and they just refuse to do it and frame me that i want to have a free service. SHAME ON THEM! I had my first brazilian laser from this studio. (I already had 2 times done here. just 1 month apart) Price is.. yeah pricey. $169 for brazilian and armpit is free. (They always do armpit first and then brazilian second because of numbing cream time) I have dark/black hair so the technician looked at my pubic hair colour and determined what type of machine to use. I think they have like 2-3 machines. And she used Alexandrite and I'm very glad because after the 1st session I did my own research on google and it says laser is much more effective than IPL - which is targeting not deep enough to reach down to the root of the hair as it covers broad area. However, as alexandrite is laser type, it kills/burns the core of the root one by one, not covering the skin at all which means targeting only on hair, not skin. I felt no pain at all on arm pits. But funny thing is on brazilian area it was also okay, but the technician told me it needs to have "spark" when she zaps, so she suggested going up higher strength level. Then it hurts one by one. It feels like shes using tweezer to pull out the pubic hair. But not whole pubic hair feels like it. I guess 30%? I moan a bit (hahaha) whenever it hurts and she knew it obviously so right after the zap she quickly pulls away the laser and cools with cold air at the same time, which is definitely what she should do and I was happy she did. I personally think on Groupon deals of hair laser they use IPL so they would need to have more treatments compare to laser treatments. And in the end, costing more money. And, I don't think legit good places don't be in Groupon in the first place as they know customers will see the real value behind the price. One star less is just a price but I will go back again again until it reaches 10th session to see how far it reached to hairless :) read more

This is a fantastic hidden laser and waxing studio. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are respectful, friendly and efficient. It's hidden in the Graphic Arts Building on Richmond, but I had heard about it through several friends. I've only done waxing there, no laser treatments, but I'm more than happy every time. I wish there was an option for no star at all. Waxing is not just about doing it without pain. But it is also about the quality of wax one uses and the results it shows in the regrowth. Well, my experience has been bizarre in just one visit. The got Brazilian done from here. When the hair started growing again, all hair were ingrown and got bumps all over the place. I would say 90% of the hair were ingrown. It was not painless. They used strip wax instead of hard wax which is usually more painless and gives you better post waxing results. I regularly scrub myself to avoid such situations and to get better waxing results. But my scrubbing didn't help me at all this time, not sure what kind of wax they use. Really DISAPPOINTED. No double dipping (They pour the wax into a disposal paper cup with each patient), latex gloves and again very clean. I had no pain and was out in 15min. Came here for a bikini service. Location is convenient being downtown. Hours are accommodating. The ladies there were friendly and nice. They were inviting when I arrived, offering a glass of water. The atmosphere is comfy. A very well use of space.only one reference is the rooms are not sound proof as it appears the ceilings aren't fully dry walled for walls. The service was good with the service I went for. The lady was professional, talkative and precise. She was good with fulfilling your request. The materials used was good, organic and not sticky. Price is a bit high for waxing but at par for the area. Perhaps a "wax day" deal will engage in customers in frequent visit for their monthly/semi monthly service needs. read more

I've been coming here for over a year now for my laser hair removal needs. I appreciate that they do not sell packages and their prices are reasonable. There is no sales pressure to buy several sessions, etc. Please do not try to compare them with Beauty Bar or other places that used the 'painless laser' because the machine they use is completely different and much more effective. If anything, it is the same used by Bellair Laser and they are much pricier. The studio is small but very clean. I was personally not bothered that it was in a building and not a stand alone studio...this sort of thing is the norm throughout the world. This place is absolutely fantastic - the service is top-notch, the results are incredible and I couldn't recommend it enough! I'm transgendered, so I've been doing laser treatments on my beard here since November. I had a very coarse beard to start with, but almost all of the hair is gone now. My facial skin is of impeccable quality after so many treatments, so their laser is very good. I've also had my neck and chest lasered as well, and it didn't take many treatments for me to get amazing results. Their prices are also great. They also don't lock you into package-deals - you just pay as you go - which is something that attracted me to use their services. You'll enjoy the results so much that they don't have to lock you in to make you come back! They don't even charge extra money for numbing cream! I also started getting my eyebrows waxed here, and Dragica does a fantastic job - she's such an artist. She thins them out at just the right amount and creates a beautiful arch to them. Dragica and the girls are also the nicest and warmest people you'll ever meet. I am always greeted with a warm smile, and I get a kiss and a hug now that they know me. I decided to use this spa one day when I was really low on cash so I googled the best cheap places in Toronto and came across this one. It was only $35! It's a small little spa in a building in the financial district. The spa attendant, who I think was the owner, was amazing. She was so nice and made the experience very pleasant. I haven't been back unfortunately because they use strip wax, and in a pinch I can deal with that but on a regular basis I can't. She made sure all the little hairs were gone and put a soothing cream on afterwards. If I didn't mind strip wax, I would definitely make this my monthly place. It is cheap service because the quality is cheap. Beware of Burns. I am a doctor specialised in cosmetic medicine, I have had waxing, laser and threading done as methods of hair removal for the last 15 years. I came to Evropa in a hurry to get a simple wax done before the weekend, to test them out. Today was the WORST experience I have ever had with customer service from a "acclaimed wax salon" which clearly BURNED my SKIN from a botched waxing job. It was a simple procedure, but during the wax I right away noticed the heat and complained about not burning me because my skin was sore. The esthetician dismissed my concerns, and tried to reassure. I left unhappy and in pain. I spent the next 24-48 hours icing my pit because of the pain. I waited to see my medical esthetician who was away until today for a second opinion on my burn, and she agreed that this was a poorly done waxing job and shouldn't have happened. Today I went back to EVROPA to show them photos of the burns and they negated and said I was making up the discolouration and that they did not see anything. If I could post photos of the proof I have, I would. They offered me no compensation whatsoever, or a refund. Even when i asked for alternative treatment options, the owner implied that I was making this all up. As a medical specialist, I went there under the impression of quality and good service - and I am extremely disappointed and appalled at the fact I was called a liar, and that this salon has no respect for customer service.
