He is an amazing man of faith who is incredibly personable and a true pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding is tough enough and Paster Mabry made it easy. He gave us great material help with organizing the flow if our ceremony. Reasons Paster Mabry should be your wedding officiant: 1) Genuine Warmth - From our first meeting he put us completely at ease. He took the time to get to know us in a short time. We knew when we left the meeting that we found the right officiant for our special day. 2) Affordable - When planning a wedding it's easy for the budget to spiral out of control. Sensational Ceremonies was a reasonable choice. Paster Mabry met with us for an initial meeting, attended the rehearsal & and conducted the ceremony all for an affordable price. 3) Organized - One of the choices you have to make when planning a wedding is whether the officiant will attend the rehearsal. When I contacted other officiants most didn't see the need to attend the rehearsal since they have conducted many weddings. That may be fine in some situations however we wanted to make sure that everything was a stress-free, no-brainer on wedding day. It was Paster Mabry's experience with weddings that was invaluable at the rehearsal. Having him attend the rehearsal was (next to choosing him) one of the best decisions we made. Even though we had a wedding director that conducted the rehearsal Paster Mabry gave great guidance on the ceremony. Because of this we felt very confident going into the wedding the following day. 4) Charming Person - He was a calming influence on the wedding day. Even though we had a hiccup (one of the unity candles went out) he was able to bring lite humor to the moment defusing any possible nervous tension. Additionally he took the time to get to know us well enough that everyone was comfortable. Many people commented on how much they loved the way he conducted the ceremony and because it felt very personal they also thought we had known him for a long time. Selecting Paster Mabry was one of our best decisions and Sensational Ceremonies made it easy.

Maeghan brought a calm, organized, and reassuring presence that made a big difference for us. She helped keep everything moving smoothly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy each moment. We had our Catholic nuptial mass which she was able to help keep us on timeline and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Then the second day, we had our Nigerian traditional. This can be intimidating for some but she handled big personalities and a big event with such grace. Ivory & Sage was also able to provide a beautiful charcuterie and basic florals for us, it was so nice to get things with one vendor. I believe she also offers decor. We're very thankful for her support and would happily recommend Ivory & Sage Weddings to couples looking for a thoughtful and dependable coordinator. 10/10!!!

One of the primary reasons we selected her company was because our venue required all vendors to be properly insured. Her scope of work included installing disco globes above the dance floor, hanging greenery vines on pillars and beams, and assisting with the setup of florals and candles for the reception tables, ceremony aisle, and cocktail area. Unfortunately, the setup process did not go as expected. Upon arrival, Meaghan was not present and instead sent members of her team, who did not bring a ladder capable of completing the installations. As a result, they were unable to begin work and stood idle for approximately an hour while a member of their staff went home to retrieve a ladder. Even then, the ladder was not tall enough to safely complete the job. At that point, rather than providing the proper equipment, Meaghan's team had my nephew climb the ladder and assist with hanging six of the thirty disco globes, commenting to him that if he loved his cousin (the groom) he would help. This was extremely concerning, as it violated venue requirements and raised questions regarding compliance with the insurance coverage that was one of the primary reasons we hired a professional decorating company in the first place. It also created an unnecessary safety risk for a family member who was not part of her staff. We expected a professional, insured vendor to arrive fully prepared with the necessary equipment and personnel to complete the contracted work safely and efficiently. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. She did have one member of the team that went above and beyond in helping set up the dining area. Her effort, attention to detail, and willingness to assist wherever needed were appreciated and helped ensure that portion of the event came together beautifully. I believe it is important to acknowledge her hard work, even though the overall experience fell short of our expectations. Instead of accepting that she fell through on what she was contracted for she kept bringing up things to point out that her staff helped load a few things and that it wasn't in the contract. Well it was the least they could do since the ceiling instillation was horrible. And they did it and we did not ask for the help. We ended up doing most of the work to just get something done.
