Oh lord have Mercy. Yesterday, the hubs and I had some of the oils and balsamic vinegars from Evoolution when we went to Pamap's Brazilian steakhouse for lunch during Downtown Dining Week 2016. They were soooooo good that after we left we literally drove to Evoolution in the Enjoy Centre (St. Albert) in order to go pick some up for home! We were blown away by the enormous variety upon entering Evoolution. The layout was beautiful and quite inviting. There were popcorn samples with oil and sea salt as well as bread dippers to try the various oils/vinegars. They told us about Wednesday tastings for $30 where you get to try a starter, main, and dessert while learning about how to use their products and you get 15% off your purchases that night! UM YES!!!!!!!! SIGN ME UP NOW!!!!!!!! We only had about 20 minutes which really wasn't enough for a first visit but the staff were super awesome at making recommendations based on what we enjoyed at Pampa's. We opted for the Pick 6 for $36 (sample sizes) to figure out what will suit us best. Their Balsamic Vinegars will last quite a long time but the oils are best used in 4-6 months for optimal taste. LOVE LOVE LOVE this location too. A huge thanks to fellow Yelper Bernice G for taking me here for a taste testing event for my birthday. It was the best educational food date a gal can ask for. The lady who was presenting did an awesome job - very casual but interactive and super knowledgeable. The ladies who helped her out and the women behind the scenes who made our food were also exceptional. The food served was creative, well made and inspired! So much so that I bought many of the oils and vinegars used so I could hopefully recreate the dishes at home! The quality of oils, vinegars, salts, spices, and other things Evoolution are top notch and worth the money. They also carry a selection of local products like chocolates from Violet Chocolate company and Vegan bacon from Sailing On. I can't recommend this location enough - and if you get a chance, try out one of their tasting events - you will fall in love with this store and concept even more! read more

What can I say? I LOVE this location. I LOVE the quality olive oils, vinegars and salts that they provide. I came to this location for an evening of taste testing with delicious food using their quality products. It surpassed my expectations! The staff that were there and the facilitator were fabulous! They took us through a wonderful exploration of different kinds of oils and vinegars that were served to us in a variety of dishes prepared by the owner's mom. We were also given the recipes to take home to and try and if we decided to purchase any items that evening, we received 15% off. The recipes were developed by staff in the store to encourage innovation and fun! How cool is that? If you do decide to come to one of their tasting events, come hungry! You get plenty of food to sample and I guess they change it up every season. If you just want to come check out the store and not partake in the tasting event, it is well worth your while! You can still sample the products on their own or with pieces of bread. The staff are great and you can tell they love the product and love what they do. Are you kidding me?!? Evoolution has been a life changing experience! Gone are the days of my palate succumbing to burgers, pizza or Cool Ranch Doritos. As much as I loved that stuff in the olden days (!), the trophy wife and I found this little gem located in The Enjoy Centre in St. Albert, after sampling them at Pampa restaurant in downtown Edmonton. We finished our lunch at Pampa and immediately drove to The Enjoy Centre for a field trip. Upon arriving at Evoolution, we soon discovered that you can sample any of their vinegar and oil wares that you desire. We were completely blown away by the selection and flavours of Evoolution. We decided to go with their 6 for $36, choosing two oils and 4 flavored vinegars. We bought them with the idea of making our own salad dressings or drippings for a nice bread. If you can appreciate a good balsamic, I urge you to check out Evoolution. No word of a lie, this place has changed the way I look at food. read more
