There's one part with 2 ladies and a man. One of the women is a bit late. Also the clucking sound of the ballet shoes is distracting. It's not bothersome when it's in sync with the music. Also, it would have been nice to differentiate the primary ballerina with a different costume as she's just look like the rest of the ballerinas. In sum I just got bored.

Yes, we have touring companies but we need something more permanent bringing top talent to Miami. If you're wondering what's inspiring this sudden demand for more shows, blame In The Heights. In The Heights was splendid. What a wonderful musical to bring to Miami. It's such a warm, positive story and of course all the Latin backgrounds, accents, slang, and spanglish fit in perfectly to our city. The music and songs were so much fun. I actually wanted to get up and dance at certain points, this show was bursting with energy and I'd love to see them come back for a longer run. As for the storyline, it was rather honest. I think most of the audience identified with the sacrifices parents are willing to make to support their children's future. And the idea of a neighborhood or rather a community becoming a family of sorts, is one I'm sure many can relate to.

This is a great studio tucked away in Miami, with parking being a bit tricky & scarce but I think they have other spots for regular studio members to park at, if asked. She loves everything about this place- from her classes, her fellow ballerinas, and her instructors. The owner, Jennifer Rose, is so passionate about ballet and cares so much about her students. Her love shines through in her dedication and everyday interactions with the students and parents who send their kids here to learn the tools of the ballet trade! They even have an incredibly fun summer camp to hone in on their skills and experience all the dance offerings the studio has to offer (we started with ballet, but after summer camp, my daughter insisted we also put her in acro- and so it was!) I think my favorite thing about this studio is that it really focuses on dance instead of competition; it seems like a lot of dance studios in Miami claim to be the best but they're really just loud and showy and unnecessarily expensive. If you want a quality dance education, South Florida Ballet should be your only stop.

They are nurturing, vigilant, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every child. Many teachers have been at KLA for years, and because they clearly enjoy being part of this community, they are able to build lasting bonds with children--even when they are no longer in the same classroom. This creates a uniquely special atmosphere for families. The approach to learning is thoughtful and intentional at every stage of development. Children are supported in reaching their milestones through meaningful experiences, social-emotional practices, and engaging class activities. The curriculum is comprehensive and balanced--covering academics (numbers, shapes, language), art (with a dedicated atelierista), physical education, and an impressive range of enrichment programs like dance, Spanish, soccer, and martial arts. KLA is also a wonderfully inclusive community, bringing together families from all around the world. It is not unusual to hear four or five languages spoken within a single class, always in a spirit of benevolence and respect, where everyone feels welcome. Another thing that stands out is the attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. Everything feels carefully considered, and it is clear the leadership values feedback, making thoughtful changes while also supporting teachers in their own professional growth. If you are looking for a place that fosters independence from a young age and prepares children to transition smoothly and confidently into school, there is no better choice than KLA Schools of Coral Gables.
