The filler had been placed a few years ago, and over time I began noticing dark rings under my eyes that extended up toward my brow line. I scheduled the appointment with Alyssa, as she originally performed the filler treatment and is the injector I typically prefer to see. During the appointment, I was advised that adding filler under my eyes would help improve the dark, hollow appearance. Alyssa recommended following up if I did not notice improvement within two weeks. After two weeks, I called the office because I had not seen any noticeable results. However, I was informed that Alyssa did not have any available appointments until the end of October. I was surprised to learn that the recommended follow-up would require waiting nearly two months. Unfortunately, the response I received when I called with concerns about my results left me feeling that my situation was not a priority. As a long-time patient, I was disappointed by the lack of urgency in addressing a recommended follow-up. As a result, I will be exploring other medical spa providers for my future services.

The medical meetings are rushed, and there is usually an upsell. When I tried to book an appointment, I was told it was four weeks away. I pay monthly for the medical concierge services. But when I mentioned this, the response was, "I have a waiting list. Maybe it's time to part ways." I don't use the aesthetics side much; I felt like I must not have been generating enough $ to warrant medical help. Aesthetically, they don't disclose prices, and they change from what they tell you the first time to what they charge when you check out. They also charge for the "convenience" of getting the product there rather than from the pharmacy, but charge 3x the amount for it. I never had the dermaplane done before and Cheyenne told me the benifits so I decided to add it on. I'm so glad I did! I get it with every facial now. My skin was ~glowing~. The second time I came I decided to do the Hydrafacial and also added the dermaplane with Olivia. This facial was more invasive than the regular facial as it kind of like sucks the gunk out of your face. I really enjoyed this one as well, but beware since it does clean our your pores a lot you will probably get some pimples a few days later. Personally, I think the regular facial is the way to go if you want to go routinely and then do the hydrafacial like once/twice a year to really clean your skin! I also really recommend the dermaplane. It feels scratchy since it is a blade that they are scrapping the top level of your skin off and little peach fuzz. The area is super clean and smells amazing. Parking can be tricky since it is in Lawrenceville, so make sure you add that into your driving time!

I'm a fully grown, balding man in my late 30's who has shaved his head for 20+ years that simply wants to remove that daily process from their life. I have a dark shadow of stubble, even when cleanly shaved (which I do not want and affects my self-esteem), and it's been a source of discomfort every day because of my sensitive skin. Even after telling the doctor this, she informed me that SHE thinks I'll "regret" a process I've researched for *years*, waited for an appointment for, and was ready to pay money for. She let me know that she doesn't "feel comfortable doing something (I) might regret" and that I might want... hair plugs or a transplant??? Are you serious??? It's my body. My choice. I don't tell others how to live their lives or what to do with their bodies, and this was one of the most ridiculous interactions I've had with another person in years. I'm sure if you want a bikini line or your armpits lazered, she'd have no problem--but a guy who's researched, wanted, spent time and gas money to get there? Nah--he's probably an idiot and incapable of making a choice like that for himself. Thank goodness she saved me from myself. Unrelated, the receptionist is lovely. After waiting over an hour in the waiting room the doctor spent no more than five minutes with me and seemed really bothered when I started to ask questions. He then told me that a nurse would be in to answer everything and quickly left the room. I decided to leave right behind him. When I mentioned my experience to a few people at work, one of my co-workers told me about Dr. Happel. After viewing his website, I decided to make an appointment. As soon as I walked into his office I knew things would be different than the previous doctor. I was very impressed with Dr. Happel. After the examination, I was not rushed out of the office. He really took his time answering all my questions and put my mind at ease. Once I decided to have the procedure done to remove the problem veins, his office handled the insurance work. The actual operation was very quick and I was home a few hours later. Before the operation Dr. Happel said the incision would be small. When I finally saw it, the first thing I thought was I had paper cuts that were bigger! It's been several weeks and the pain I had is complete gone. I would definitely recommend Dr. Happel. He is an expert at treating veins.

We had a mid-week, afternoon appointment scheduled - and it seemed like he had no issue at all booking. The "cupping" was interesting - and Kris did an excellent job. Unlike large scale spa's, she took the time to get to know me and the issues I had been having with my headaches. She took the time to work on one area, which was my neck, first. The neck massage that I received was out of this world. Not only did Kris use cupping techniques, she used hot stones, and provided THE BEST massage that I have ever had. I really, really, look forward to coming back to Lana Vita and would recommend it to anyone.
