While doing so, she was very nice, but when i got home and checked, she left wax in my hair and still missed hairs in my nose and a little on my brows. I understand maybe not all hairs will be pulled but she didn't do any clean up or check to make sure she got all the hairs or that she cleaned off excess wax. Was very annoyed that i had to pick wax off my neck and back of my head hair. I would like to go again but not with Vicky. I personally believe she only has this job due to her family in law owning it. I don't want or trust someone to wax me if they barely care for the work they are doing. I asked if this was something she loved doing and she then explained she only worked there because her old job sucked. Nothing personal with her but again i will not choose her again even if shes the only available one working. She also was supposed to wax, trim and shape my brows, all she did was wax the bottom, middle and top but she did not use any scissors to trim or shape my brows, super upset when that one wax service cost 21 dollars when other places cost $12-15 for just the brow wax. Other than Vicky's waxing skills, atmosphere was really nice and clean, i loved their hard wax, didn't hurt at all, really awesome formula. There was another lady who waxed my friend and did a great job! Not sure of her name but she had very very short hair that was blonde, i will need to find it out and ask for her next time!

I attended the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis and graduated with the honors. Her attitude and response was completely unprofessional. "Hardly uneven", is still uneven. No wonder the salon is referred to as the "Fake Aveda Salon". I really hope that that manager has been fired since then. As a salon owner, I would've been extremely pissed.

I was very clear that I wanted my hair to remain more brown then red like the images we went over in depth about how I wanted the highlights placed and I was honest about the last time I previously died my hair and we spoke about more so what the color would look like on my dark hair. I never said I wanted my entire head lightened and red toner slapped on top. She places the color and I notice most of my head is foiled but I chose to trust the stylist and her process and wait for the end result. As she is shampooing my hair she seems stumped on how to tone it. She goes over it with another stylist and shows my inspo photo she places the toner washes it out we dry a spot and I see a THICK very RED patch, she lifts the hair up and asks too red? (It was bright red) I said uhhh yes way too red she says she knows what to do she'll place another toner over it and it will be fine. She tones it again blow dries turns me around and I see my hair. Vastly different from the inspiration photos. From the highlight placement, the COLOR especially everything about it was FAR from what I asked for. I honestly and kindly told her I'm so sorry but I do not like it. I told her it did not resemble what I wanted. She offered to fix it and I said I know you have clients waiting I can come another day whatever works for you. I am a new mom with a 3 month old and getting any time to get out for hours is already hard enough to arrange. She said she could do the following morning on her day off. I told her I felt awful it was her day off and if we could do another time. She said she was very booked and did not mind I said okay working with her schedule. I apologized several times for not liking it and I thought there would be some sort of apology of acknowledgment that my result indeed did not reflect what I wanted but I never got that. I came in the next morning after staring at my hair all night I tried to see what she saw but it just wasn't anywhere close to what I wanted but I was grateful she was willing to correct it. I went in and sat down and she said the ends looked like how I wanted and she would fix the top but I just knew that we were not seeing the same vision. I asked for just an all over dark brown color and she seemed upset but honestly I didn't want to risk hating my hair again and I don't have the time to go back AGAIN I knew the easiest thing was to slap on an all over color and call it a day. She kept saying it looked good and like the photos it showed me and I didn't want to say no it looks awful I said it looked fine but not anything like I wanted. I asked for a dark brown all over she agreed and said Okay I will even though the ends of your hair looks just like the photos you showed me . (It certainly did not) I've never experienced someone who couldn't take accountability for a mistake like That and tried to gaslight me into thinking it looked like how I wanted. I'm grateful that she took the time to fix it but her demeanor and vibe was definitely off and seemed peeved that I asked her to fix the mistake. She did not charge me to put the all over color on which I agree was the right thing to do but I did think at some point she would apologize for the hassle and for not being able to give me what I wanted. Even in the end I had to settle for coloring over it because the tones and placement were way off and my hair already felt damaged after the all over Highlight. I hope that this salon takes the steps to further educate themselves on color theory and hopefully avoid this from happening to future clients.

The Concierge gal in back was a delight and friendly. My massage therapist was Sue and I hadn't heard of her before, but she was exactly what I needed. We had one time where the nails were not what we expected, but every other time has been wonderful. They are always welcoming and do a great job. My husband is a diabetic, so he has to be careful and very attentive with his feet. They are one of the few places we have ever gone that he hasn't had an issue with getting cut or worrying about the cleanliness. I was surprised to see the bad reviews, because I have never seen any of what others describe.
