Everyone has gone above and beyond to accommodate my son's particular health needs and prioritize his care. They work with us to schedule appointment times that work for us and we have barely ever had to wait more than ten minutes (we are usually seen right away) at the most to be seen. The office is very organized and runs smoothly. While we are still hoping to see much more positive results from my son's care at their office, he already seems to be sleeping better which is a big deal for us considering he's been having a flair up from his medical condition for a couple months now and it's made many things very difficult from him and for us. This is a bright light in the right direction for him. For myself, I became a patient not long after we started my son. I have been living with debilitating headaches and neck pain multiple times a week sometimes daily. My previous chiropractor and other doctors and therapists have not been able to touch my pain. Since I started my appointments three weeks ago I have seen a decrease in the severity of my head and neck pain as well as a decrease in frequency. I have not had to resort to pain medication in the three weeks since I started and that says a lot. I also wanted to say how proactive the doctors and their staff are about your care and actually helping you to feel better. As part of their program they send you home with a home kit of all kinds of equipment to use to help your pain and help resolve your individual issues. They show you exactly how to use everything and also have you do some of these exercises when you come into the office. I have been to other chiropractors and have never seen this level of support and care. Last but certainly not least, I wanted to talk about the energy in this office and from the staff and doctors. The office is clean and bright but not overwhelming. This is so important for kids on the spectrum and with sensory processing issues. The staff, Dani, Keyri, and Genesis and both doctors, Dr. Maria and Dr. Cody, have a calming, quiet, patient energy about them. They are amazing with my son and have been so understanding to his needs. As someone who struggles with PTSD and trauma and a son who is easily overwhelmed but people and his environment, I can't tell you how much this means to us. I have felt so cared for and safe in this office and it sets the bar for knowing that these kinds of physicians still truly exist. As an adult with many complex medical needs and a child with the same, I have always felt like we are treated like a burden to many health care providers (or people in general) and it is such a blessing to be treated with kindness, respect and compassion from the very beginning. I am truly grateful to everyone at Alive and Free Chiropractic for everything they have done so far to make our experience with them a wonderful one and I'm looking forward to continuing our care and bettering our health as time goes on.
