This movie theater is pretty good! They have an arcade, bowling, and a bar. Lots of parking. Taking one star because the movie was low in volume. Kinda ruined the whole movie theater vibe. As I was watching the movie i could hear all the chatter going on and everyone chewing their popcorn lol. Other than that, everything was great. The reclining chairs were a huge plus.

Clearly had to get a refund raggedy ass movie theater

It's honestly sad that you can't go down the street from your house to enjoy a movie this is the second day that inside out been out and honestly going to this movie theater sucks. They don't have no cut out no cups. Nothing for the imagination. It was on the popcorn section. Customer service sucks. Literally they gave me the wrong ticket More other story that you gotta travel to go have a good time because this shit is not it

This place never disappoints. The manager at the Bowling Alley, Danny and his crew, Danayia, Sosa, Jaylene, and Maya, are breath of fresh air as this pertains to wonderful employees. I know they have to be tired the way they walk around here and serve all of the customers. They go back-and-forth and make sure that everybody is satisfied with everything, but they do it with a smile. This team goes above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you all for always making our outing a memorable and exciting one.

My son was diving in Key Largo, and not being into fishing, scuba or drinking, I decided to head to HomeStead and visit Evo Entertainment for lunch and a movie. They have parking garage, but it cost $4/hour which was surprising as I already know I would be spending plenty for a movie, lunch, entertainment and movie snacks. Despite that, $16 for 3hrs 20 mins of parking. They have food on the cinema side (hot dogs, burgers, etc) as well as a walk up food stand with additional items like bone in or boneless wings. I opted for a few wings which were reasonably priced, but $6 for a bottle of water was my second cost related surprise. You can see there is a theme here. In addition to bowling they also have some arcade machines. I added a video to show how nice the place is, and since it was just after opening it was not busy. Move people came in later. Once I was done here, I headed to my 12:30 movie, The theatre is also nice. Some of the seats are pretty worn, but it functioned just fine and reclined all the way back. The bathrooms were also well maintained. If you are looking for a place to spend a few hours, give Evo a visit.

I had to change my rating bc it has quickly gone downhill. It doesn't matter if you purchase tickets to an R rated film, gaggles of unsupervised young kids and teens (well below 17) will disrupt your movie, and no theater employee will either care or do anything about it.

No soap at all

I don't know what has happened to this place. I have been coming here since the theater opened and have always recommended it to everyone. A year ago I would have given this place 5 stars, but lately thumbs down. The nice screen, comfy, reclinable seats and the surround sound are amazing, which is why I'm giving them at least 2 stars. Two weeks ago I came to see Thor. The bathroom was super dirty and my theater seat still had the dirty candy wrappers and cup from the previous person that must of been sitting here, the movie before. I thought maybe it was a fluke, maybe they didn't have enough staff that day, or maybe they just forgot. I didn't think much about it since my previous experience with this place has been great. Last night I returned to watch Nope, and that is exactly how I felt about my experience. It started at the concession stand. I asked for a pretzel and the person working at the stand couldn't even tell me how much it was because he didn't know and then the screen with the prices didn't have it listed because they only had the price for the big pretzel, not the small one, which is the only one they had there. The guy was totally lost. Then I thought I would get some nachos, but when I looked at the self serve cheese and chili station it was disgusting. I should of taken a picture of it. There is no reason for it to look like that when there are two workers behind the counter just hangin out and talking. I went to use the restroom before going in to the movie and the there was no soap to wash your hands. The only thing they had was a bottle of hand sanitizer next to the sink that I assume is what they wanted people to use instead, which smelled yucky. Then I go to finally sit down and relax to watch my movie and as I walk up to my assigned seat the disappointment continued. My seat was greasy and had popcorn on the sides. My tray had crumbs and there was a paper and more crumbs in the cup holder. I'm not sure what is happening at this place. Business seems to be booming because it is always packed. They also have a bar, arcade and bowling and all three are always very busy. What a shame that this place is going down the hill. Management really has to step up their game and make sure people are doing what they should be doing.

My BF and I went out for a day of exploration and we decided to check this place out. We went on a Saturday. I am happy to say it was not packed. The place is spacious and clean. Hope it stays that way. They have a super nice concession stand and a Blue Bell ice cream counter. The bar is nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bowling lanes have large TVs over them so you don't have to miss the game while taking the kids bowling. The arcade had a great selection of games and that is where we spent most of our time. They also have an outside patio with Jenga and connect four where you can just hang out with your favorite beverage. Will be back!

What you first see and walk on before opening the entry doors

If you are coming to bowl or play in the arcade atmosphere is good. Cons- dirty walkway before entering business. Exterior sitting area is always dirty. They have been dirty for months (over 4 months now) The concessions area 9 out 10 visits is always dirty . Butter all over the counters, spilled soda and icee on the floor. Low to no condiments, cup lids, napkins or hot dogs. How do you run out of lids for the soda cups? If you sit at the bar , I hope you like the music, good luck.

This venue is exceptional!…read more I was invited by MAC, a local non-profit, to participate in the special screening of "A million miles away" in this Historic Theater. The venue reminded me of those intimate and welcoming venues we had back in the days. It is centrally located in downtown Homestead. You can't miss it. Its architecture will captivate you. If you have yet to walk inside, I recommend you do it. If is one of those places that hold history and should be experienced.

On March 1940, the theater burned down after a fire started on the stage causing a complete loss of the building. The replacement theater was an Art Deco building designed by noted national theater architect Roy A. Benjamin. It is noted as being the only Art Deco building in downtown Homestead. After operating for almost 40 years the Seminole closed its doors in 1979 due to financial trouble. More trouble was in store for this theater when Hurricane Andrew in 1992 ripped off the roof and nearly destroyed the theater again. In 1993, unable to make the repairs, the owners donated the dilapidated structure to the city. Historic preservationists began working on it to bring it back. In May of 2014 Homestead voters passed a bond referendum to give 5 million dollars to renovate the theater and turn it into a cultural arts center. Another $550,000 was awarded by two state grants. With the infusion of funds, a restored Seminole Theater was able to open on December 12, 2015 for a Grand Opening Gala, "A Night on Broadway." I love when a historic building is saved and repurposed for the arts. Especially when it is as gorgeous as this one. As I went by people were lining up for an evening performance. It is wonderful that dedicated preservationists were able to save this theater for people to enjoy today.

There's this retro-style entrance with a mini food truck setup where you can grab snacks, drinks, and even cocktails before heading up. It already feels like an experience before the movie even starts. Then you get to the rooftop--and wow. Open-air cinema, Miami skyline, perfect weather... it doesn't get more "Miami night" than that. They give you wireless headphones so you can fully immerse yourself in the movie without distractions, which I thought was such a cool touch. We watched The Dark Knight, one of our favorites, and seeing Heath Ledger as the Joker on a rooftop under the Miami sky? Unreal. Still the best Joker, in my opinion. The whole experience felt relaxed, different, and honestly kind of romantic without trying too hard. Perfect for a date night or just doing something out of the usual dinner routine. Definitely adding this to our list of go-to Miami date spots.
