Alhamdulillah I had the opportunity to perform Hajj 2019 with Evia Travels. Allah (swt) had blessed me to perform umrah and hajj many times before so going in, i knew what to research for when signing up to go with a group. Alhamdulillah from the time that before we even left Chicago until our return, Evia travel, under the leadership of Mr. Siddiqi had gone above & beyond to provide the best possible service. Alhamdulillah our group had 150 brothers and sisters in it. Our hotel in madinah was 20 min drive from the airport and we stayed in the 5 star dar al Hijrah, as promised to us. The hotel is right across King fahd gate and is about a 5min walk to the haram. While in Madinah our group scholars provided us with regular guidance and were available to answer questions at anytime. The scholars were always available throughout the journey to provide guidance and answer any questions. Br Siddiqi was also always available to help/assist/answer any questions that anyone had. In addition to Br. Siddiqi, we also had Br. Waleed to answer and help us in anyway possible. The food buffet in Madinah was also excellent and satisfying. Our journey to makkah was also very good and luxurious. All the buses were brand new 2019 models. We had a total of 3 buses and each bus had a scholar in it. I was in the bus of Sh. Omer. He gave us spiritual and motivational talks throughout the journey to makkah and during the last 45 mins of our journey to makkah, he went over how to perform umrah step by step, asked questions to the group to make sure everyone understood and also took questions. As we arrived in Makkah we found that Mr. Siddiqi was already waiting to receive us at the hotel (we found out that he had left madinah in the morning of our departure to ensure that our rooms were ready and every thing would go smoothly). As we got off the bus we were given our room keys so we could just go directly to our rooms. This was the easiest and smoothest check-in ever! In Makkah we checked into Swissotel hotel which is part of the Abraj complex (Clock Tower). On day one of Hajj, in our tent in Mina, the tents were very comfortable and exceeded all of my expectations. We had a sofa that converted into a mattress to sleep on. We were also given a pillow, bedsheet, and many other essentials. For lunch, each person was given a huge tray of Tazaj chicken and rice meal and for dinner we had albaik chicken. The food was excessive but they wanted to make sure the hujjaj were well taken care of. In Arafat, the tent was also great with mattresses and a/c at a comfortable temperature. In Arafat we also had excellent meat and rice dish. The scholars gave us motivational talks and led us in group duas. We were also provided sleeping mattresses to be used in Muzdalifa. When in muzdalifa we slept comfortably under the open skies and the next morning we were led to the jamarat by Mr.Siddiqi and his team. Mr. Siddiqi, Mr. Waleed, and others were always with us throughout the journey which I know is unheard of, for the tour operator to actually accompany the pilgrims every step of the way. This was very much appreciated by everyone in our group. As our flight was on Friday evening and we had to check out on Thursday, Mr. Siddiqi arranged for hotel for us stay in jeddah instead of us just having to wait at the airport. Overall, it was a wonderful experience where everyone got along like one big family. It exceeded all of my expectation and I will cherish the memories of this trip for the rest of my life. We did our Hajj 2017 with Evia Travel and it was a very good experience. I took my Mom and Dad with me and we purchased 5 star affordable package. My Mom and Dad are elderly and at first I was worried how it will be possible for me to take care of them. But the day we landed in Medina airport, it was all smooth going. My Mom and Dad spent most of their time in Masjid e Nabvi. Madina hotel Intercontinental Dar Al Hijra was very neat and clean and close to main entrance. A seminar was scheduled in hotel Al Haram where other group was staying. We attended the seminar. It was conducted by Imam Al Khatib Hassan. He was very soft speaking and answered my questions. But I liked the second seminar in Makkah hotel. It was conducted by Dr Haqqani. He has very good knowledge and he gave us full guidance how to perform Hajj. In fact we were lucky that Dr Haqqani was staying in our hotel. Every day after breakfast he will sit with us and share his knowledge. He guided many others too. We stayed in Makarem Ajyad Makkah. The food was excellent. A section of buffet was exclusively for Indian Pakistani dishes. The hotel was very close to Haram. The rooms are wide and each bed has enough room for movement. The tents in Mina were air-conditioned. The food was good, hot and served in time. The boys hired by Evia Travel were very prompt for service. Arafat day was a spiritual memory. Dr Haqqani led prayers. He read supplications for more than 1 hour. Imam Al Khatib also read supplications. All arrangements were very good. Each one of us was given a folding mattress and pillow for use in Muzdilfa. Our return flight was Etihad 5pm next day. We were checked out from Makkah and given a hotel for rest in Jeddah before departure. The Jeddah hotel Al Hamra was too good. We went around Jeddah city and it was most memorable. Next day after breakfast we were dropped off at Jeddah airport for our return flight. My parents were very happy for a very easy and comfortable Hajj. Alhamdulillah! I have performed hajj last year (2018) along with my wife. I had a chance to chat with his another son, who was pulling out our luggage from the truck at the airport, who has a PhD degree in Pharmacy; very nice man. We preformed Hajj with Evia Travel in August 2018. Overall, it was a memorable, great experience and our pilgrimage went as planned without any problems! The package placed us pretty close to both Haramain in Medina and Mecca, we only had to walk 3-5 minutes in each case to reach the masajid. Both hotels were very clean and allowed us to have a pleasant time when we were there. Each room had 4 people, there was plenty of room and we were comfortable. We were provided buffets in both Medina and Mecca hotels, which consisted of a variety of foods from different backgrounds. The tent in Mina we stayed in was equipped with plenty of ACs which allowed us to stay safe from the heat. We were fed well here as well! Buses were provided to and from the three sites of Hajj (Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah), which reduced the stress of Hajj. The three scholars were great as well, and were always there to guide us each step of the way! They had time for our questions and explained the steps of Hajj well. The co-Hajjis were amazing, I really felt a family bond with them for two weeks, Alhamdulillah. Mr. Siddiqui and Mr. Waleed were always there for us as well and made us feel at home.
