I had done my homework, but I still had a lot of questions. Vince was not only patient and knowledgeable, he genuinely took the time to walk me through every option without any pressure. What stood out most was his honesty. He actually encouraged me to consider the Model Y because it might better suit my needs, even though it was the less expensive option. That told me everything I needed to know about his character. I ultimately chose the Model S anyway, but at no point did I feel pushed or "sold." Vince was accommodating, thoughtful, and completely focused on making sure I made the right decision for me. What really stuck with me was how he treated everyone else in the showroom. He was constantly helping customers while other Tesla Delivery Representatives seemed far less engaged. When I came back to pick up my car, I saw him walking an elderly woman with a cane out to her vehicle, letting her hold onto his arm and making sure she got there safely. That moment summed him up perfectly. He genuinely cares. If Vince is not already in a leadership, management, or corporate role, he absolutely should be. He leads by example, goes above and beyond, and represents the kind of customer experience every dealership should strive for. Tesla is lucky to have him.

Now the reality check... DO NOT accept delivery of a vehicle with ANY blemishes or cosmetic issues. If you do, it becomes your problem to fix - not theirs. I made that mistake, and I regret it. I was told one thing at delivery, but four days later I got a completely different story. The Rocklin service location does not perform auto body repairs. Instead, you're sent to North Sacramento, where: 1.The soonest appointment was a week out 2.You're told to call the day of your appointment to see if a loaner is available If there's no loaner... you're on your own to figure out transportation. That's unacceptable for a brand at this level. Bottom line: If there are ANY paint issues, scratches, dents, or body flaws -REJECT THE VEHICLE ON THE SPOT. Don't assume it'll be easy to fix later. It won't be. I'm more frustrated with myself for accepting it than anything else but hopefully this saves someone else from making the same mistake.
