When you're traveling with family and relying on your EV to get home, that's unacceptable. Today I arrived with limited range remaining and over 100 miles still to drive. Instead of plugging in and charging, I had to go through the same routine of contacting support because the app would not work. The charger eventually started, but customers should not have to call customer service every time they need to charge. EV charging infrastructure is supposed to be reliable. If a station repeatedly requires remote intervention to function, it is not reliable. Electrify America needs to fix the app, fix the station, or both. Until then, drivers should have a backup plan before depending ANY location

Many of the car companies have arrangements with electrify America and provide free charging as part of the purchase arrangement. If we can't charge at the station, we should be reimbursed.
