After a thoughtful and thorough discussion, she told me she felt she was not the right person to perform my surgery and recommended another surgeon instead. That level of honesty is rare. It would have been easy for her to proceed, but she chose what she believed was best for me. Dr. Alderman is warm, direct, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients and about doing what's right, not just what's convenient. That kind of professionalism and ethical standard speaks volumes. Because I wanted to focus on shape and not size(I was already a DD and had given birth twice), we opted to do a lift + implant(200ccs). She recommended a boost implant that would basically add the fullness I desired up top without making me too too heavy. My results are absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have imagined anything better.

It was less than a whole business day later, that all surgeries got canceled indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus virus situation. I realize closing surgeries was not the surgeon's call, but there was a lot of danger in having me wait this out, as I have secondary complications if I did this via ER in the pending months of outbreak. I suspect it's been broken for the last seven years. I felt my evaluation should have been seen more of a priority. The three star is also up there because my medical records never ended up at their place even though I sent them weeks in advance. I felt the office should have called me as my appointment was approaching, to let me know they still weren't there because myself and main GP thought they were.

I was his patient for 15 years and he was on Hammond Dr just off 285 and maybe 1/2 mile from 400 for over 12 of those years. How do I know because I was his patient. I fallowed him when the company he and partner in the practice hired to manage their practice scammed them out of their practice. I fallowed him from there to snellville ga then to Woodstock ga up untill he left pain management to return to an anesthesia for surgery patients. Dr Kevin Sheahan is an awesome human being and amazing Dr and unless you were pill farming I can say without a doubt he wouldn't yell at a patient. And was not in Newnan several years ago. He was completely dismissive and condescending, and clearly does not have basic understanding of migraines medically and either doesn't know or doesn't care about how debilitating they are. I've struggled with chronic severe migraines for 5 years and have spent 38k out of pocket going to every specialist I can find and doing every treatment I could to cure myself so I can work again and get my life back. I cant do anything to even live a normal life much less work. My migraines last up to 6 weeks non stop each time, I am unable to drive, or work or go outside or do anything during this time from extreme light sensitivity, blurred vision, and cant think or speak clearly during this time. I only had a brief chat to go over my case with a nurse and then dr Gwynn came in, all he did is prescribe a medication.. no questions or concerns or interest at all in anything about my symptoms or case. He said im 23 yrs and im fine and migraine's are not a disability. Actually im 45 years old and yes they are a disability according to the federal government. Im sorry.. are you saying I look good so I must be good? How should I "look" to be suffering with migraine? This is extremely condescending and demeaning. Did he graduate from neurology or cosmetology school because since when do you determine someones neurological condition and ability based on their outward appearance. I wish I read the other reviews before I went, but at the time I scheduled I was desperate in a migraine and not able to read so I made the mistake of going. I was also lied to at the front desk when making the apt because after going to 10 other specialists and finally realizing I have to have financial help, I specifically made the appointment to find a dr who would be willing to help with my disability paperwork.. not immediately, but at some point as my treatment provider. I was assured in the apt call that he would be willing to do that.. she said there was another dr there that would not, but this one would. I confirmed and was assured multiple times. I was specifically looking for a dr who would work with me on this until I'm cured and can work. Total lie, total fraud to add further insult to injury in all of this. I hope someone sees this, and is able to avoid a traumatic experience. I was self pay so I had to pay $400 out of my pocket when I was lied to just to get me in.

The staff is polite and kind however the wait time to receive care is very concerning. If you have a dire emergency and did not come to the ER via ambulance, it's difficult to locate parking and the walk to the ER entrance is a significant walk distance from the parking garage. Thankfully my emergency is not life threatening, but if it were, the wait time alone could be critical and negatively impacting to health improvement. In the future, I would consider going to a different hospital for emergency care.
